“Ramon, the real reason why I summoned you here is because” The headmaster said but I interrupted her by saying
“Because Ms. De Villa is giving us a huge grade incentive for every student that will be joining the legitimate team, correct?”
“Look Ma’am not to brag or anything with or without the incentive class E will sky rocket our way to the top”
“We don’t need incentives to give out our best especially me I am not raise that way” I seriously said with a smug look on my face
“Are we done here? I’m kinda hungry cause I haven’t eat my lunch yet” I said as I scratch my the back of my head
“Great! We haven’t eaten lunch as well. How about you join us?” the headmaster ask and Elena is currently making a reservation
“Sure, where will we eat?”
“And can my secretary tag along. I’ll be sad if we leave her here” I requested
“Elena you heard Ramon” the headmaster said as she snaps her fingers
“Make our reservations for four”
“That would be all” Elena changes the reservation
After a few more minutes we head to the city in the high end district which is all new to me
“I should explore this place more often” I said to myself as I peek outside and check the multi colored billboards and high rise buildings
“So where are we off too?” I ask in an intruding manner
“To a restaurant that offers cheap but tasty food” Elena said and she seems excited
“Why is she so flustered all of a sudden?” I ask
“You see sir, Elena and the owner of the restaurant are close friends”
“Before Elena started working for Madam she is actually working as a crew there” the driver said
Several minutes later we arrived at the restaurant. As soon as I step out of the car I have this disturbing feeling all of a sudden. I take a good long look of the place as we enter the establishment. Different colored lights flashes all over the room and loud party music is playing
“Greetings, do you have a reservation?” A receptionist ask
“Actually we are in the VIP list”
“Elena and company” Elena said in a pleasant tone
The receptionist checked the list but was sad to say her name wasn’t there then someone shouted across the room “Let them in, they are my guests!”
The receptionist quickly clears the path for them and even guided them up stairs
“I’m sorry ma’am” The receptionist apologize before leaving
Elena just raised her brown then smiled at her. Actually I commend her for what she did. She's just doing her job. She doesn’t need to apologize if it wasn’t her mistake.
“Long time no see Manuel!" Elena cheerfully greeted as we approach the guy that shouted earlier
Looks like this is the guy that the driver is pertaining to as Elena’s close friend. He looks rather suspicious because he looks like a stereotypical criminal. He is huge, with a nice build, and talks about his tattoos. Looks like a mafia boss if you ask me.
“So what brings you here?” Manuel curiously ask
“We will be just having lunch that’s all” Elena said
“Well then order as much as you like. On the house”
“Ciao, I still have business to attend too” Manuel said then he enters a room exclusively for VIP’s which is guarded by two guards
I pulled the headmaster’s sleeve because the uncomfortable feeling I have just started to escalate and I started doubting that this place is safe after seeing the owner dress like that.
“Madam, if you don’t mind me asking what kind of establishment is this?”
“It doesn’t look like a regular restaurant to me”
“Looks similar to a bar that Vermillion and I once visited” I asked
“And why do you ask me such a question? Hmmm?” She said with an intruding look on her face
“Not to be rude but I dislike the place and the manager looks like a mafia boss of some sort”
“In fact the whole area is giving me this vibe and I hate it” I reacted
“Why do you sense something?”
“Like an urge that something is off” She whispers to my ear then she quickly follows Elena to our table and started chatting with her
“f**k how does she know?” I shouted inside my head because she knows what I am feeling right know as if we were connected
“Is there something that matters?” My secretary ask as she grasps my shoulder and here hands were cold as ice which made me shiver all of a sudden
“You look kinda space out” She followed right after
Then I notice something, she is already sitting on the table with Elena and the headmaster. My heart started racing and I couldn't move my body as if I was frozen. I tried shouting but even my jaws won’t move.
“f**k! What kind of sorcery is this?” I blabbered
Then I heard footsteps. I tried shifting my sight to look at who the hell she is but I only saw something white might be her clothes or something
“Help!” A voice echoed to my ear and it gave me the chills.
I exhaled a bit and the air expelled through my mouth was freezing. I can even see the mist created.
“Help!” someone shouted and it came from the VIP room. She sounds super distressed
Then someone pushed me behind my back which managed to unfreeze me. My instincts suddenly kicked in. Without a word I rushed into the VIP room which infuriate the guards
“Halt!” They shouted as they chase me down
Elena was about to stand up but hesitated because of the frightening smile that the headmistress has on her face
“Let the kid handle it Elena he knows what he is doing” the headmistress said as she continues eating as if she care less
“Just finished eating okay. It would be rude if you left food on your plate think about the hard work that the people from the exiled land ponder into those” the added
“Try their meat it’s scrumptious” she added while teasing Elena a bit
Inside the VIP room there were several more rooms. I tried forcing myself in by kicking a door open and I was shock to see someone having s*x inside which I did manage to frightten
“Sorry!” I apologized then I ran further the hallway
“No! Please don’t touch me!” a voice shouted and she seems close
I followed the voice and it led me to a room. I expected something nasty was going on so I activated my eyes. I breached the door and there I saw the owner together with a little girl hiding in the corner of the room and her shirt was torn. Looks like we have a molester on the loose
“Eh!!!” The owner said
“Step out of the way or I’ll murder you” I said with my eyes blazing with mana
“Big bro!” the little girl said
Then everything sank to me. The girl's voice, her hair, and her build is awfully similar to my sister. With rage I shove the man away and look at the girl and it was my sister Blossom. My sight then went blank.
The moment I got my senses back I was in chains and the members of the board were all present
“Look who decided to wake up” Procyon said with a marvelous look on his face
“Huh? What? Where am I?” I said
“Well you sir is restrained in mythical chains that even gods like us are being leached by it”
“Why are you in chains you ask? Well kinda kick someone’s ass almost killed him by the way luckily Anino was there to stop you. That would be messy to think someone with your calibre killing someone you might lose your candidacy or worse” Procyon teasingly informed
“Now, What in the world did you do?”
“Student like you should not be in a place like that”
“Why were you there in the first place?” Procyon ask
My thoughts are a little bit hazy but I do remember that I helped my sister back there
“My sister! Where is my sister?” I shouted as I struggle to break off the chains but every time I try tugging the chains it automatically zaps my mana out of me
“I’ll refrain from moving if I were you”
“Those chains burns through your mana like wildfire”
“Keep calm okay” Procyon informed
“Show her to me!” I shouted as I still tug the chains to cut loose
“Okay then” Procyon said then he snaps his fingers
