I am being completely consumed by my twisted thoughts. It feels like my mind it toying with me. I can’t bear to make a final conclusion about this matter
“Stop messing with me!” I shouted as I bang my head
“Skylia why do you have to do this to me. You already left then you told me that your clan are gods and goddess. This is torture” I said as I pull my hair
Then a thought popped out my mind. I memory back when the twins and I are talking. “Well she’s a goddess after all” one of the twins said I am not mistaking. I then become suspicious about the twins; it seems they know something about Skylia right from the start. I picked up my phone and started calling Cherry Lyn but she didn’t answer. I then called Darryl Lyn and it several attempts before someone picked it up
“What the hell are you calling this late” She seems pissed
“Can I talk?” I said
“Can’t it wait tomorrow!” She shouted
“It is about Skylia”
“I want to know everything from her”
“Meet me at the lobby” I said
“Hello! Hello!” I said but looks like she isn’t there anymore
I went down to the lobby and wait. After several minutes the twins arrived. I ran towards them and gave them a hug. I didn’t notice that tears are pouring out my eyes. They pat my back which somehow calms me down. We all went to the bench and take a seat
“So what is this important question you are about to ask us?” Cherry Lyn said
“About Skylia” I said
“What about her?” the twins said
“Remember when we are talking about her? You said once that Skylia is a goddess, right? Is she a really goddess or that is just a fancy nickname you gave her?” I asked
“What do you think?” Darryl Lyn asked as she look deep into my eyes
I pulled out my phone and showed the message Skylia sent me. They started reading it and their eyes started glaring
“I read enough” Darryl Lyn said as she pushes away my phone
“Are all humans clueless about the existence of other race?” She said straight to my face
“Is that a question or you are mocking me?” I said
“It depends on your interpretation” Cherry Lyn said
“You Ramon we may look human but we aren’t” Darryl Lyn said
“Huh?” I was clueless
“I don’t want to do this to you but you forced me” Darryl Lyn said
She then stared at me like she wants to devour me alive.
“Sister don’t” Cherry Lyn said as she stops Darryl Lyn
Darryl Lyn pushed her sister away and stare at her with viscous eyes. Cherry Lyn immediately covered her eyes. Darryl Lyn looked straight at me. Then I saw Skylia inside her eyes. The moment I blinked I was transported back to my room.
I start catching my breath like I am totally exhausted. I can feel my sweat dripping down my face
“Was just all a dream?” a thought inside my head
Then someone started banging my door. She then started screaming asking for help.
“Skylia” I shouted
I immediately ran towards the door and open it. As soon as I fully open the door Skylia hugged me tight. My instinct told me to hug her too. As soon as I touched her, I felt something sticky and wet. I immediately checked my hand and I saw blood all over it. I was shocked then I saw a trail of blood coming from Skylia’s room
Skylia then collapse in my hands. I started panicking because I don’t know what to do. I tried asking for help but not a single one reached out
“Skylia” I shouted in despair
I carried her in and tried talking to her but she isn’t responding.
“Skylia wake up! Talk to me” I shouted as I try to shake her
I repeated these several times but looks like she is already gone. I hugged her lifeless body tight. I then felt a weird sensation flowing in my entire body. I don’t know why I felt aroused by all out this. Then the moment I opened my eyes I saw Darryl Lyn kissing me. I immediately shove her away
“What’s wrong with you!” I shouted as I wipe my lips
“Do you believe me now? Now tell me how does it fell to see your worst nightmare?” Darryl Lyn said seriously
“You see Ramon Mythingale University isn’t as you think it is”
“This university is actually an exclusive school for all races. That includes gods, goddess, demons, etc. etc. etc.”
“Instead of shoving my sister away you should thank her. FYI she just removed the curse she casted on you” Cherry Lyn said
“So what I saw earlier was just my imagination and nothing was real?” I asked
“By the looks of it yes” Cherry Lyn said
“So if you two aren’t human what are you?” I said as I look at then with careful eyes because I seriously don’t want to see that again
“First stop looking at us like that, it kinda bugging us out”
“And yes we aren’t human we are actually fear feasters” Darryl Lyn said
“Yeah we feed on the fear of others, from time to time we need to use our ability to satiate our hunger”
“We are also the twins of the most powerful fear feaster Agramon” Cherry Lyn bragged
“So that is why our classmates are afraid of you two” I said as I slowly get the jeez of stuff
“Huh!” Darryl Lyn yawned
“We should probably take a rest we still have classes tomorrow” I said
“I couldn’t agree more” Darryl Lyn said
Then we heard a car.
“Who could be driving this late at night” Cherry Lyn said out loud
I think I have an idea who could that be. So, I pulled the twins and hide amongst the shadows
“What are you doing?” Cherry Lyn asked
I made a gesture signaling them to keep quiet. Then the car parked right in front of our building. Looks like my guess was right. We saw Vermilion and three other suspicious looking men tagged along with him. They waited for the elevator. As they wait looks like they are discussing something
“Hey who are those three?” I asked
“Bets me I haven’t seen them back at our previous school” Darryl Lyn said
“Yeah, looks like they are outsiders” Cherry Lyn said
Then one of the men looked at our position, looks like he noticed us. He then makes a gesture that stopped their conversation. He then walks towards us.
“Hey let’s go!” Vermilion orders
The guy went back and they all entered the elevator.
“Phew! For a second there I thought we are in big trouble” I said as I wipe my sweat off
“That guy he looks awfully familiar but I just can’t remember who and where I saw him. One thing is for sure that he is our senior” Darryl Lyn said as she recalls her memory
“We should probably head back” Darryl Lyn said
We waited for the elevator and the twins dropped off to their respective floor
“See you tomorrow Ramon, make sure you prepare our lunch” Cherry Lyn said as the elevator door closes
As I walk along the hallway I heard something coming from Vermilion’s room. Looks like they are arguing. I stopped for a while and listen to their conversation
“We shouldn’t take any risk. That mountain man may have a shoot a beating you in the election. If that happens the elders will surely get mad and I personally don’t want to get in the way”
“You said that I am going to lose in the election”
“I won’t be to carefree if I were you. That kid is pretty top notch to think he is the only one that aced the scholarship exam”
“He is right. Just remember that our clan is on the line”
“I know. Now let’s go back to the plan. It is already set right? So, I don’t have to worry about the election “
“Yeah, it’s completed alright but don’t be too complacent. Who knows what the SC is up to”
“Word from the street that they are helping that kid out? With their reputation he will surely attract potential voters”
“Not only that I heard from the other classes that they are voting for that kid. So, that means the upperclassmen isn’t all favorable to you”
“I see, can you do something about it?”
“I will do my best but for now we should focus on your campaign. The debate is three days from now and the board are planning to announce this a day before”
“I am giving you a heads up so you have time to prepare”
“Don’t need it”
Their conversation continuous then I felt sleepy. I yawned loudly and by the looks of it they heard me. I rushed to my room to hide. I heard the door creaking that means someone opened the door and closes it after several seconds
I immediately jumped to my bed and sleep
