The Deal

I head back to the university to attend my classes and finalize my campaign. Due to the previous events my attitude changed. I am motivated to win and seek revenge on Vermilion. I won't stop until that happens.
Every day after class I visit Skylia but she is still in bad shape. I stayed there until my alarm went on. As soon as I woke up I headed back to the boarding house and took a bath. Then I attend my classes. This is now my daily routine
After three days Skylia finally regained consciousness. Celestina and I are joyful of the event
"Hi there Sky, how are you feelin?" I asked
She just stared at me then tears started pouring out her eyes
"There there no one is going to hurt you anymore"
"You should get well soon you are missing your classes in that rate you can't beat my ranking" I said
"About that Ramon, Skylia isn't going back to school after what happened. It's for the better" Celestina said
"But why not? Surely I can help her overcome everything and redeem herself" I contradicted
"You don't understand, my daughter has suffered enough and I don't want it to get worse. I am only doing this for the sake of my daughter" Celestina said
"Because mother knows best? Is that it?"
"Did you ever listen to Skylia's decision Ma'am even just once? I don't think so"
"Skylia isn't a child anymore; she has the capability to decide for herself. Why not ask Skylia's opinion after all this is her life we are talking to" I said
"Ramon stop my mother is right if I went back to school it will become a major problem maybe by now I am all ready kicked out from the university" Skylia said
"No Skylia, it isn't too late we can still fix this. I can ask Ms. Paterson to help you. You didn't do it Vermilion did so he should be the one kicked out from the university" I said
"Ramon, thank you for everything. I highly appreciate it but my decision is final. I am not going back to school" Skylia finally made up her mind
"We will be leaving town as soon as Skylia is fully recovered" Celestina informed
"Will I ever see her again?" I asked
"Of course silly. You can still call me or you can chat me in my dummy account" Skylia trying to cheer me up
"Okay I will" I said
Then Celestina handed me something it is my bag
"When we came to the hospital they said you already left. So I kept it for awhile" Celestina said
I quickly checked my things and I saw my phone inside. I immediately grabbed it and checked my Instaglam account. I have tons of unread mail and notifications
The messages came mostly from my supporters and classmates the notifications on the other hand came from the tagged post
"Okay I will be on my way now" Celestina said then she left
"Skylia is your decision really final? I can't talk you out of it?" I asked
"It depends, why not give it a try then, maybe you can persuade me" she said
"Well here goes"
"Skylia if you don't come back to school I won't be inspired"
"Inspired to do my best because you are the reason why I stayed there in the first place. Without you there my college life is meaningless"
"I have the choice to whether or not continue my education. I only took that opportunity to arrive in the city to search for my mother then you came alone and my perspective changed. Instead of wasting my time finding someone you is long gone why not spend my time with the girl I love and it's you Skylia"
"I truly love you so please stay with me in the university" I tried persuading her
I looked at her and she was crying. I hugged her tight and kissed her forehead.
I grabbed my phone and we took a selfie together. We really enjoyed each other's company and we lost track of time. I checked my watch and it was pretty late. We decide to call it a day and rest.
"Big brother wake up you're going to be late" my alarm clock wails. I immediately shut it down to avoid waking Skylia
I gently opened the door and exited. I went back to the boarding house and prepared for my class. I don't know why but I feel great today.
I greet everybody I meet then the twins popped out and wrapped around my arms as always
"Looks like someone woke up at the right side of the bed"
"Yeah" the twins said
We started to walk then Katarina approached us
"Ramon can we have a word with you at the student council's office" she said
I looked at the twins and they let go. Katarina and I went on our way. As soon as we enter. The mood inside the office became intense. I sat down then they opened a presentation
"As you can see Ramon you are only second out of the three presidential candidates. Vermilion is ranked one with a lead of 1578 votes in the pre survey" Katarina said
"I see what should I do to win the election?" I asked
"You need to focus more on your campaign to gather as much supporters"
"We have these list of events that will surely grab the attention of the students"
"Attached to it, is the place and time of the event" she said as she hands out a copy
I checked it all out
"Okay just remind me every time we have an event. Here's my number" I said as I hand over my phone
"There's no need for that Ms. Paterson already gave us your number" she said
"I better get going now, I will be late to class. Bye" I said as I went on my way
In the hallway I saw Vermilion walking straight at me. I gave him a nasty look as he approached. Our shoulder bumped into each other but we didn't mind it at all and just continued walking
I entered my room and the atmosphere was somehow chilly. I saw my classmates faces and they all look terrified and shaking
"What happened to you guys!" I shouted
But they are all just staring at the ground. I approached the twins even though they were terrified. To think a student with such superior personalities afraid of something
"What happened to her? I worried
"Ver, Ver, Ver" Darryl Lyn keeps repeating
"Ver?" I am clueless
I hugged Darryl Lyn tight
"Speak up!" I shouted
She then hugs me tight and started crying
"Vermilion, Vermilion threatened us"
"He said that we are all going to be expelled if we don't vote for him" she said
"That fiend" I said to myself
"Does Ms. De Villa know about this?" I asked
"Don't tell her please! You will only make things worst" she stopped me
"But I won't let him threatened you all, not when I am around" I said
I talked them out of their fear until they all snapped out of it. They all look devastated so we all skipped the first class, the professor is totally fine with it
After the morning classes it's lunchtime my classmates are still terrified so they didn't move from their seats. I hand over our lunch to the twins
"It is okay if you share the food with the others?"
"I should go. I still have things to settle" I said
I immediately went to the section one's room but Vermilion already left. I headed down to the cafeteria. There I saw Vermilion and his gang eating their lunches. I rushed towards them
"How dare you threaten my classmates!" I shouted as I slammed my hands at the table
I really made a commotion
Vermilion's gang all stood up and ready to pick up but Vermilion raised his hand stopping them
"You're really a feisty one aren't you?"
"Tell me aren't you afraid off me" Vermilion acting all superior
The crowd started to move away, they all seemed terrified some even ran away
"Why should I be afraid of you. You're only a stupid heir of a stupid stack up clan!"
"What's special with you anyway. We all looked the same" I mocked
Vermilion's gang are all furious looks like they want to break every bone in my body
"Settle down boys he's not worth it" Vermilion said
"How about we settle this once and for all"
"If I win you and your f*****g clan leave this university" I proposed
"If I win I can do anything to you, even killing you" He said
"Deal" I said as I offer my hand
"You just made a deal with a Demon kid" he said
"See you in the election" I said as I turn my back and walked away
The crowd started murmuring as I walked past them.
