I was about to exit the door but the demons blocks my path
“Give way!” Vermillion said with authority. In an instance the demons clears a path for me
I look at Vermillion then give him a salute and I am out. I headed straight to my class but I heard the beautiful tune I heard earlier in the staircase. I don’t know why but I feel this strange sensation as if it was calling me. Out of curiosity I tracked down where the voice came from and it led me to the hallway. There were awfully a lot of monsters but my eagerness prevails. I continue my search then I ran into that fish lady suddenly the song stop
“I am sorry. My thoughts were occupied for a moment” I apologize as I help her up
“Why does it have to be you of all people!” She said then rolls her eyes at me
“So what did Elena and you talk about when we left?” I ask but she just went on her way with even answering my question. I was left hanging so I let her slide. Then the beautiful song continued and I was close.
“Hell no! Don’t tell me she’s the one I was looking for” I ranted as I lose all hope of having a decent conversation with her. Like what the F she just ignored me. Ahhhh!!!
“Hey! Teodosia wait!” I shouted which made her look back. I saw her singing the song then stop as soon as she reacted
I approach her and hold her hands, looks her straight in the eye then said
“Your voice is majestic”
She starts to blush and feel embarrassed all of a sudden
“If you have time to spare I would love to hear you sing once more” I eagerly said
“Okay meet me at the dorm lobby after class” She said as she pulled her hands away.
I was speechless and don’t know how to react like I am meek. She has this weirded out look on her face as she waits for my answers but I can’t construct a sentence. She stared at me for several seconds then went on her way. The moment she turned, words came out of my mouth.
“See you later Teodosia” I said with a huge smile on my face
She looks back at me then smiles. For that moment I was immediately captivated. I went to my class with a huge smile on my face and I couldn’t care less. I barge in while Ms. De Villa is discussing and just sat on my chair
“Looks like someone is in a good mood” Ms. De Villa said which I completely ignored
She got the jeez of it and continued her lecture. I then started to hear murmurs all over the room but I just ignored it as well. My thoughts are completely all about Teodosia and her majestic voice.
Lunchtime and the twins approach me. I handed over their lunch and told them to go ahead because I am planning to pay Teodosia a visit
“So what’s with the creepy smile on your face?” Cherry Lyn ask
“Huh? What smile?” I reacted but my smile just got wider
“Don’t tell me you’re in love again?”
“Dude, isn’t one heart break enough?” Cherry Lyn ranted
“Of course not, For me Skylia is still the most gorgeous woman and there is nothing you can say to change my mind” I said
“So, why are you acting so giddy?” Cherry Lyn said and she seems partially upset
At first I hesitated because they might laugh at me but I can’t stand looking at their curious faces.
“Okay you win”
“I met this girl and her voice is so breathtaking like I can’t get it out of my mind” I said then Darryl Lyn interrupted me
“Wait! A breathtaking voice you say. Buddy maybe you’re just under a spell”
“And come to think of it, what happened to your limiter?” She said
“About that, Vermillion destroyed it but he didn’t intend it. I promise”
“It was just an accident that’s all” I explained
“And about that spell you’re talking? Sorry but unlike you her’s is talent” I rudely said
“Talent you say? Sorry but without your limiter you are more prone to spell manipulation”
“Tell me, who is this girl anyway?” Darryl Lyn said
“Her name is Teodosia and if you excuse me I’m going to meet up with her”
“You can have lunch without me” I said then I went on my way
“Fish girl with blue hair and big boobs?” Darryl Lyn said
What she said made me pause for a bit. I turn around then look her straight in the eyes and said
“Do you know her?”
“Who wouldn’t? She’s the daughter of the God of Water” Cherry Lyn said
“And she’s one of the best songstress in this university”
“Some say that hearing her voice can lead to mind control. I heard her song once and it was euphoric like my worries suddenly disappeared. I thought it was only admiration because I wanted to hear more turns out my mind was already been corrupted” Darryl Lyn said
I was terrified of what she just said. I tell them everything that happened earlier. With no time to waste the twins dragged me to the seniors’ hall and came looking for Margaret De Villa. Yeah! She’s related to our adviser. The twins said that she’s one of the best spirit users on campus. After checking several classrooms we finally found her. She was at the far end corner of the room and her back is the one facing us. The twins barge in the room but the moment I step inside they start staring daggers at me so I step back. I bow down to show my apologies and wait for the twins to finish talking to Margaret
“f**k!” I reacted the moment I saw Margaret’s face. I step aside so she won’t see my face. The one of the twins peaks then pulls me inside.
“Well, well, we met again”
“So, you’re an Utopian spell” Margaret said
“Can you help me?” I ask
“Easy!” She seems full of herself
“But I want something in return” She bargains
“Anything” I said
“Well then let’s start” She said as she looks behind her making sure it’s all clear. She puts her palms together then this flaming gate rose from the floor. Smoke comes out as it slowly opens and dark tendrils cripples its way to me. Margaret starts chanting words that I couldn’t discern. The tendrils started squeezing me
“Too tight!” I said as I ran out of air. I can feel my body getting weaker and weaker. I was close in fainting luckily the tendrils loosened up. I quickly catch my breath as I drop to the ground. A couple of seniors hoist me to a seat
“Now about my compensation”
“I want you to pay me a visit later. I’ll drop by your classroom right after classes ends”
“If you excuse me I need to freshen up a bit because that purification sure was tough.” Margaret said then she exits the room
“You’re done here right? Now get a move on” one of the seniors rudely said
“WTF? You saw our friend collapse right?” Darryl Lyn fight back
“It’s fine. I am okay” I said as I stand up
I grabbed the twins on their risk then went on our way. Breaktime is almost over so we head straight to the classroom. After several minutes of walking I started to feel dizzy, like my sight was spinning around.
I can hear the twins shouting my name as I lose consciousness
Several hours later. I regained my consciousness
“Good you’re finally awake”
“Sorry if I forgot to warn you. My spirit magic has this nasty side effect” Margaret teased then she sticks her tongue out
I look around the room and it doesn’t look like a hospital to me. Maybe the design is so modern here in the city that it looks like a real bedroom. Come to think of it the room is filled with different furniture and even stuffed beasts. I stand up and look around the room. My eyes widened as I saw Margaret’s photo on top of the table. With a creep out look in my face I slowly turn around and look at her
“Where are we?” I shakingly ask
“At my room of course?” She replied
I was silent because I didn't know how to react. Like what in the world am I doing here? Last thing I remember is that I passed out and now I am at a girls bedroom and we are all alone.
“Oh Emre! Please don’t let this devil seduce me” I prayed while my eyes are close
