Alina and Rex took back Ocean Wood with the power of the Heartsbane dagger, which is no longer a dagger. It turned into a sword and it split open the Earth with ease. The big battle with Alpha Maddox triggered something in Alina. Why did he truly go after Ocean Wood? Was it just for the dagger or does the beach hold more secrets than she thinks? Someone from her past returns to tell her.

Episode 1
REX It has been three months since we saved Ocean Wood from the grasp of Maddox and his rogues. Alina and I spent most of that time rebuilding her old home. The Ocean Wood pack house was an utter disaster from the rogues completely trashing the place. Alina took up the task of repairing her home and did not want much help. She was stubborn that way, but Goddess I loved her. In fact, she was on the beach now training some of our wolves. ALINA “Let’s go!” I pushed the wolves to their limits as they raced across the sand. “Luna, with respect, we’re not beach wolves. This is not our home.” One of the warriors said as they crossed the make shift finish line I had created. “True, you’re not beach wolves, but Ocean Wood is apart of Red Woods territory now. That will never change. You need to learn how to fight on the sands in case we are attacked. The sands will slow you down and you need to be faster than the enemy.” I explained to them. “How do you remember all this?” Another asked. “You haven’t lived here for years.” “I listened to everything my father ever said to me. He always wanted to protect our home. It was sacred land to him, to us. And now it is yours as well.” “Alina, you need to come see this. I’m at the front gate.” Rex had mind linked me. His voice sounded serious. REX I sat in my office looking at the renovations that still needed to be completed in Ocean Wood. Last month, Alina had created a brand new barrier around our entire territory using the sword. It was to protect Red Woods and now Ocean Wood. But adjustments still needed to be made in the pack house on the beach. Alina wanted it to turn it into a training ground and use the pack house as a safe haven for rogues like her. She had already spent months training our warriors how to fight on the beach. Sometimes I feel as if she spends more time at the beach then in the trees. It didn’t matter though. Alina was back to her old self. After the fight with Maddox and the rogues, Alina had a hard time adjusting back to a normal life. Her whole life had been about finding the dagger and taking back her home. Now she was home. You can imagine the adjustment period from living on the run to finally being home. “Rex. There’s a man here at the gate, looks like he’s going to pass out.” Hunter had mind linked me. “You better get over here.” I rushed from my office and outside to the castle grounds. I could already see as I ran closer that the man was struggling to stand. He reeked of blood and sweat. By the time I got to the gate, I recognized him immediately. He was the spitting image of Alina. That means..this is is Robert Heartsbane. “You’re supposed to be dead.” “You..must..be Rex.” Robert stumbled before he caught himself. More blood dripped into the pavement. He coughed violently and even more blood dripped from his chin. “Where’s..my..daughter?” “I’ll get her.” I closed my eyes and focused on Alina’s lingering scent. I could always track her scent. The ocean always stood out against the trees. “Alina,” I started. “You need to come see this. Now.” ALINA After Rex had mind linked me, I jumped on the ATV and raced across the territory to the front gate where the Christmas smell was strongest. However, something else was tainting the smell. Blood. And something familiar. I hadn’t smelled this in a long time. It should be impossible. I skidded the ATV to a halt where I could see Rex and Hunter standing in front of another wolf. “Rex, what’s going on?” “Don’t freak out.” He moved to the side to reveal.. “Dad?” “Alina-“ He took a step towards me. My body reacted on instinct. I unsheathed the sword and pointed its tip at his throat. “It can’t be. I watched my home burn. You died!” “Alina..I-“ Dad collapsed on the ground before he could say anything else.
