Narrator's POV
Beatrice stormed into the living room of the Red Moon manor, throwing her bag at Mrs Smith who had come to welcome her, and flinging her shoes, which happened to catch an unlucky steward in the forehead.
“What is it, baby?” Dimitri asked, concern etched on his face.
“Your wench, that's what!” she screamed haughtily, her chest rising and dropping fast.
“Wench? You mean Sarah?” Dimitri questioned confused, still trying to understand he said, “Darling, bother not about the wolfless b***h”
“I'm here, and you're to be my Luna in a few days. The first acknowledged one since my reign” He scooted off where he sat and patted it, signalling for Beatrice to come sit. But, she wasn't having it.
“Do you know the wolfless little b***h like you called her is mated to the Beta of BLOODHOUND PACK!!!”
“What?” Dimitri blurted out astonished. It couldn't be, he thought.
“You can't tell me you believe that, do you Beatrice? You're much smarter than that, darling. She was messing with you.”
“She didn't seem like she was Dimitri! You need to do something about it, I thought not telling her about nullifying your pardon bond would kill her,”
Beatrice couldn't understand why Sarah was still alive given the woman said it would sap at one's life source if not done properly.
Sarah, might have looked tired and stressed to Beatrice, but she could sense something else too. Peace. Sarah had even seemed a bit rounder around the edges, and it had just been days.
'The b***h has a way of moving on' Beatrice thought before sinking into the sofa and nuzzling her head on Dimitri's chest.
“So it's true?” Madam Rosa queried.
“The news I wanted to be rumors were true, you actually chased away the best thing to have happened to you, next to Beatrice leaving” His grandma spoke more surprised her grandson would make such a mistake.
When Dimitri said nothing and ignored her, placed Beatrice's head on his thighs and played with her hair, his grandma boiled with anger.
“I'm speaking to you, Dimitri!” she yelled.
“That's Alpha Dimitri woman, and you do not speak to your Alpha in any manner you please” he retorted.
“Me? Child, I made you who you are and I can unmake you” Madam Rosa said.
“Make sure you do everything thing in your power to get Sarah back or you won't like my next decisions.” she continued.
“Not only will I inform the pack elders of your attempt at murder,” she stopped looking Dimitri in the eyes.
“I'll let them have your conversations which was just recorded as further proof. It's better if she ends up with the Beta of Bloodhound pack, at least he'll treat her right.”
“You will do no such thing” Beatrice hissed, unfolding her legs, and lifting her head.
“Look at me, Dowager. Your time here has gone, you are no longer the reverenced warrior you were. You're nothing now.”
“A weakling,” she spat. “And I'll have no issues showing you just how useless you are now”
“You dare speak to me this way?” Madam Rosa asked, “This. This, is what you want to become your Luna”
“I'll show you what weak is.”

Aaron sat in the living room, reading through a few books, he turned in his seat, continued and turned again, before shutting it.
He wasn't comfortable, couldn't be. Not after what has transpired between him and Sarah.
If asked what made him say words like that, he couldn't answer. He didn't really think of her in that manner.
He had said it to prove she meant nothing, more to himself than to Henry.
He had no idea she was listening in, or that she'd overhear it.
Aaron decided to go for a walk into the city, 'Not because she's there' he thought, he couldn't convince himself, what would Henry think?
He wanted to meet with some human who had "conquered" his turf anyway and teach him a bit of a lesson.
All he could recall was the look in her eyes, and the way her face had pain written all over it when he saw her.
“For Selene's sake, why can't I stop thinking about this woman?”
He needed to find her.
