Some say nature is cruel. And it can appear that way to us, but is it really? Why do those who say nature is cruel, crave being in it? Is it the testing? As humans, we crave the testing, even though we fear it.

“What about you?”
“I’ll either catch up to you, or will be at the medical facility shortly after. I’ll keep you posted. The important thing is to get Annie and Heather home.”
“Has the Teknarah threat been neutralized?”
“It hasn’t been eliminated, but it has been rendered ineffectual, for now.” Murdock broke contact.
