And now it was becoming painfully obvious that he was much further from home than he wanted to be.
Before coming to this planet, Murdock had gone months without seeing another human being. He gave no thought to distances he needed to travel. But now, being out here with Beron, away from Mei Lee and the kids, he missed them. He missed the chaos and the noise the children created.
The more he thought about it, he found that he missed Declan, Emily, and all their kids as well. He smiled whenever he thought of them. He smiled even more when he thought of his entire tribe.
