An all too familiar communication flashed to Murdock from Beron.
“‘Tis time.”
“Time? For what?” Murdock responded.
“Spring gather.”
“Heather, have you ever been to a spring gathering of the Oomah?” Murdock was sitting at the table.
All three kids were eating without fighting, for once.
“No, sir, I have not,” Heather replied, speaking carefully.
Getting her to slow her mind and to concentrate on the words has helped the way she speaks. That and being around people who speak correctly probably helps, too.
“Would you like to go?” Murdock asked.
