The crowd chuckled.
“So without further ado…” Zeke turned to Murdock. “Do you?”
“Absolutely.”
Zeke nodded and turned to Heather. “Do you?”
“Unequivocally.”
“Then by the power of Grayskull, I pronounce… you uns is hitched.”
Everyone laughed heartily.
“Are you going to be okay today?” Murdock said. “I need to hunt, and I was planning on taking Andy with me.”
“Where are you going?” Heather said. “Hopefully, you won’t be too far from home.”
“I was thinking, in the field across the river. We do need another deer for winter, as well as porkers and fish.”
“The girls and I can help out with the fish part,” Heather came over to her husband, who placed his hand on her swollen belly.
“If you think you can. I don’t want you doing too much. Don’t want any…um…issues.”
