Callum's POV.
The cars were silent as we moved to the office. I could feel Diane'a eyes resting on me and I
didn't want to turn to face her. My heart was heavy with the instruction I had received from the
council elders and I didn't know what to do.
My heart couldn't stop pacing as I watched though the window the city. There were people
everywhere and slot of them were going on with their duties for the day.
Diane kept looking in my direction hoping I would speak to her but everytime she did, I didn't
turn back to face her. My eyes darted to my wrist watch and I checked the time. It was getting
close to 12pm and that was the time for my meeting.
"Ask them to go faster, I have a meeting in 20 minutes." I suddenly spoke and my personal
assistant in the front seat replied nodding hi
