Maxwell's POV.
The car tires screeched right before it came to a stop. My eyes ran through the compound. There was no gate so it was an open space that had an old crusty house with an old theme built inside of it.
Ross looked through the mirror in the window. I nodded my head that we could go out. He went out and opened the door for me to get out of the car. I stepped out and the sun was already blazing hot against my skin.
"Ross, get the ash!" I said to him and he went through the other door to get the ash pot.
