Maxwell's POV
My head banged the hard iron stairway and I held my head trying so hard not to scream. I heard some noise and the elevator opened again, Tanisha coming out to face me.
"Follow me!" She said in her calm voice like nothing happened. I struggled to stand from the ground and when I finally did, I was running after her. I didn't see more people or anyone pass again. Tanisha led me through a door and the room was like a waiting room.
Her room was still thick in my memory so as we passed, I couldn't see the little details that reminded me of her room. I was panting right at her back, trying to catch up with her and utterly still pained by the fall episode I had outside.
