ACT ONE : A HIGH SCHOOL LIFE - A look on how young two opposites attract. And what happens when it ends with a tragedy? Or will it really be the end? PART ONE Reeve and Lian were classmates in highschool and were the exact opposites. Reeve is outgoing, athletic, and can easily make friends but Lian is cold, does not know how to speak friendly with others and is always busy reading books. Their classmates and teachers misunderstand and find her rude. But Reeve has always been drawn to Lian and does not give up on getting close with her. He's hoping that one day, Lian can finally smile more and make friends with others. One day, their Science teacher instructed them to pair up and work on a class project that they will present in a week. Reeve was paired with Shayla, who is considered the cutest girl in their class. Everyone is not surprised as the whole class is rooting for them. Lian seems to be unbothered when everyone is looking for a pair. In the end, she ends up being paired with a nerd as there is no one who wants to pair up with either of them. The Science teacher goes out of the classroom. Everyone startles at the sound of a table and chair being pushed away. Reeve and the class sees Lian standing from her seat glaring at the nerd. The nerd suddenly claims Lian is a psycho for being so violent and tells everyone that she hurt him. Little did they know Lian is defending herself as the nerd is blackmailing her earlier and tells her nobody will want her as a girlfriend so she must be thankful that he chose to be her partner out of sympathy. At first, Lian pretends to not care but when the nerd begins touching her legs, that's when she stands for herself yet this nerd is playing to be the victim. Some of her classmates believes what the nerd is saying and calls her out. Now, the whole class seems to be against her. She says nothing and proceeds to return the chairs and tables to their position. The nerd, feeling validated that the whole class is by his side kicks Lian's chair that she is holding. PART TWO Reeve intervenes even if Shayla has told him not to. He made a deal that he will be Lian's partner. If anything happens to him, their class will be the first to know and he will be the one to report her to the guidance. After all, he is part of the student council. He turns to the nerd and examines his hand pointing out that there is no evidence that Lian hurt him. If anything, it was the other way around as the whole class has seen him kicking the chair that Lian was holding earlier while she was obviously trying to take her seat. There was an intent to hurt her and she could have been injured, which will count as an act of violence against someone, particularly a girl. The nerd realizes this and is frightened. He starts to stutter and still insists that partnering with Lian will be the biggest mistake that he will make. Reeve helps Lian in picking up her chair and fixing her table. The teacher returns to the classroom and it was Reeve who greets their teacher back happily, gesturing to their classmates that no one I'll tell about what happened earlier so Lian will not be in further trouble. PART THREE After class, Reeve catches up with Lian who is walking home. It starts to rain and neither of them has an umbrella. By the time they find a shed, their uniforms are already wet. Reeve realizes this as he can see what is underneath Lian's top. He blushes but Lian is not aware. He looks away yet his imagination is running wild. He starts a conversation with Lian, so he can stop imagining Lian and him in a steamy scene and to also break the silence between them. Lian starts to talk about her experiences growing up in an orphanage and changing homes from one foster home to another. Now that she is living alone, she has learned that getting attach with someone will only hurt her in the future. She has learned that in real life, people will always take advantage of each other. Those who are weak are easy targets. She never knew her mother but she knows that she is dead and that was a result of her trusting the wrong people. Reeve while listening, is moved by her experiences. Her respect for Lian grows as he realizes she has been through so much. PART FOUR The rain stops. A group of boys are about to pass by. Reeve remembers Lian's clothes isn't totally dry yet and her b*a is still visible underneath. Reeve pulls Lian, turning his back to the boys' direction and covering Lian with his arms. Reeve and Lian realizes that their bodies being so close to each other is an intimate position. No one says anything while their eyes locked. Reeve's smartphone begins to ring. It is her mom calling. Reeve answers and tell her mom that he is on the way home but got stuck because the rain. Her mom scolds her for forgetting small things for emergency like umbrella. She even tells him that how can he be a good boyfriend if he is like that. Reeve assures his mom that he will be home in 10 minutes and ends the call embarrassed to be talking to his mom about that in front of a girl. He turns to Lian who is now covering her chest with her bag. She must have realize that her b*a is visible. Reeve turns away and out of nowhere asks for her number. Lian tells him she does not have a phone as the stipend that she receives from the orphanage only covers her school, rent and food. If she needs to buy other things, she will have to look forms job. Reeve is worried that Lian is not safe to go home walking with a wet and seee-thru clothes so he offered for her to come with him. That way, her mother can let her borrow some clothes. PART FIVE Lian agrees. As they walk together, Reeve reached out his arm on Lian's back to cover her visible b*a from the people from the back. They arrive at Reeve's residence and Reeve's mom is so happy he bought a girl. She expresses her desire to have a daughter but instead have Reeve so meeting a girl the same age as her son makes her happy. She tells Reeve to prepare the dinner while she assists Lian. She lends Lian one of her Sunday dresses and it fits her perfectly. Lian is also told by Reeve's mom to put up her hair once in a while. PART SIX Lian and Reeve's mom comes down the stairs and Reeve is mesmerized with Lian in her mom's green dress and a ponytail. It was far from her wearing the same old uniform and looking cold and mysterious all the time. She now looks like a confident cute teenager... She is even cuter than Shayla, if only her classmates can see her like that. After dinner, which Reeve cooked, Lian spent the night in Reeve's house as Reeve and her mother were worried that it is already late. Her clothes were in the drier so she is assured that she will have her uniform by tomorrow. She sleeps in Reeve's mom room and Lian felt happy that she met Reeve's mom. She is grateful that she gets to experience what it is like having a mother. Tomorrow, she will definitely thank Reeve for everything he has done for her. PART SEVEN The next day, Reeve wakes up and goes straight to the bathroom as always. He doesn't realize someone is there taking a shower. And that someone is Lian. Before he can take away his eyes away from Lian's body, Lian lifts a bucketful of water and splashes it to Reeve, making him come back to his senses and come out of the bathroom. He remembers his towel is still inside the bathroom and since he is wet, he goes inside assuring Lian his eyes are closed to quickly reach for his towel. He does not realize that Lian is moving closer to the door with the hopes of locking the door before he can come back inside. They bump into each other causing both of them to fall back inside the bathroom. Reeve is on top of Lian, who is still n***d. PART EIGHT They eat breakfast that Reeve's mom prepared in silence. Before leaving home, both Lian and Reeve thank Reeve's mom, with Lian hugging her expressing her joy in meeting her. Reeve's mom wishes Lian to come back and Lian answers hesitant ly that she will, fully aware that Reeve is listening behind her. They walk to school and unlike yesterday when they were walking together, now they have a significant space between them. Reeve is aware that Lian is still mad at him. It isn't his intention to see her n***d. He apologizes to Lian. Lian sighs and says whatever he says nothing will change, he still saw her n***d and she will be forever embarrassed about that. But he assures Lian that she knows it is not intentional. She also thanks Reeve for everything he has done for her. Reeve smiles and is relieved but the next thing Lian says confuses him. "Let's not bother each other from now on," she says as she walks faster and away from him. PART NINE At school, everything is back to normal. Everybody is greeting Reeve and Reeve is his usual self being a friend to anyone. Lian sits in her usual chair shutting everyone around her. Nothing is supposed The next day as Lian is walking in their school hallways to the library, Reeve calls for her. Lian feels a sudden excitement and she asks herself if she misses Reeve's mom or Reeve himself. Reeve reminds her that they need to get some materials for their Science project. Lian agrees, before Reeve can ask her how she is, he is stopped by Shayla and before he knows it, Shayla kisses him in front of Lian. And in front of the other students in the hallway PART TEN On the day that Reeve and Lian meet up to buy materials for their class project, a kid suddenly crosses the street while a truck is speeding. The first person to take action quick was Lian, she run to the kids direction and covered her with her arms. For a moment, Reeve realizes that even if Lian seems cold and acts like she does not care, she still has a strong interest in helping others. Also another thing that Reeve realizes is that he needs to protect Lian and will never forgive himself if something bad happens to her. With thatbin mind, his reflexes took over and even if it is just seconds before the truck hit Lian and the kid, Reeve was able to pushed them away from the main road. He is able to save them. But he did not have enough time to save himself... ACT TWO : THOSE NIGHTS - A dark turn for everyone's lives especially Lian's after Reeve's death. Dark events including paranormal encounters and more deaths threathens the city. PART ONE Blood is everywhere. Reeve is hit by the speeding truck. Lian let go of the kid she has protected and went to Reeve's side and keeps on calling him but he is not answering. She want to touch jim but his body seems so lumped and his flesh and bones were either crushed or scattered. All Lian can do is cry. Ambulance arrives and they rush Reeve to the hospital. Lian cannot hear anything. Without her knowing it, everything around her become silent. Nurses, medical personnel and doctors are present. They are saying words she cannot understand. Terms she is not familiar with. Even uf she is not hearing their voices, she tries to read their lips. Dead on arrival. For the first time since she realized that her mom was dead, she cried. PART TWO Funeral. Reeve died three days ago. Lian is sitting on one of the front seats. Beside her is Reeve's mom. She honestly feels like it is not appropriate for her to be there. All of the visitors who heard the story of how Reeve died blames her. she also blames herself. If only she has declined on meeting Reeve that day, Reeve will still be alive. Everything that the nerd said before Reeve got close with her is true. Partnering with her will be the biggest mistake that Reeve will ever make. Getting close with each other is not supposed to happen. Getting Reeve killed that day is her fault. It was supposed to be her who died that day. She killed Reeve. Lian feels Reeve's mom helds her hand tightly. Her mom must have sensed that she is blaming herself again. Her mom is supposed to hate her as well, like how the other feel towards her. But Reeve's mom is so understanding. Instead of being mad at her when the news hit her that her child is dead, she embraced her. They are both grieving but she is the reason why they are grieving at the first place. If only Reeve did not save her. PART THREE Burial. Everyone is starting to slowly walk away as the ceremony ends and the Reeve's coffin is now buried under. So that is life's final moments. Lian contemplates if it is just Reeve's body's final moments or somewhere out there his soul and spirit still exists. Beside her is Reeve's mom. Both of them holding the umbrella's handle tightly and relying on each other for support. They have both cried so much. And Lian knows every night, Reeve's mom will still cry for him. Lian knows how much Reeve loves her mom. She will do everything to protect her. She is her only family now that Reeve is gone. Except for Reeve's father. Reeve's father has not attended the funeral. At first, she thought that Reeve's father is dead. She hasn't receive a clear explanation both from when Reeve is still alive nor from Reeve's mother regarding the status of his father but she knows that he is still alive and he is the one who is supporting both Reeve and Reeve's mom by sending money to their accounts and providing everything that they need. But why isn't he at his own son's funeral? He is not even here to support his wife. PART FOUR Lian and Reeve's mother returns home and they both prepared dinner silently. She agreed to move in with Reeve's mom since the orphanage that she grew up with has stopped supporting her now that she is in a legal age. Lian notices that Reeve's mom has prepared a table for three. She doesn't say anything and tries her best to understand that it is part of her being in denial that Reeve is dead. PART FIVE One month after Reeve's death. Lian entered the classroom but as she opens the door, she is bathed with a bucketful of pig's blood. The whole room fills with laughter, with some of her classmates' looks are either filled with disgust or hatred. Even if a onth has passed, they still blame her. The whole school blames her, even people who just heard the news and does not know her personally. Not only is she filled with a dead animal's blood, but she also stinks. One of Shayla's friend shouted at her to go away and clean herself first before entering the room. They don't want her spreading her mess everywhere. With five minute left before the classes start, she goes to her locker area to get her PE uniform and clean herself in the bathroom after. All of the people who sees her are clearly horrified to see her. By the time she has clean herself partially and changed to her PE uniform, she returns to her room. Her teacher is not pleased seeing her. Coming in late in class in her PE uniform and looking like a mess, she resembles a delinquent to her teacher. Her teacher humiliates her in front of the class. Lian does not say anything nor defend herself. For her, she deserves all the bad things that they do or say to her. PART SIX ACT THREE : FAMILIAR FACE - What happens when a familiar face returns? A face who belongs to a man who already died? Is it really Reeve? If this is paranormal, does he have anything to do with the deaths and occurences that haunts the city? ACT FOUR :
