To Samantha’s surprise, there were more people in the puppy class than she expected. She counted seven others, besides herself, Aaron, and the teacher. That was a lot of people in the know about the secret world of the Nox.
At least, she guessed all the other participants were humans like her. From what she’d been told, the Nox almost never took ownership over a familiar. Most Wardens were human.
From the look of the group, Samantha differentiated at least three other breeds of hellhounds. A black puppy sat near the window, while two golden-coated ones were running around their owner’s legs. A couple of reddish ones were playing together in the corner, barking and growling away. One of them bit the other in the tail and just like that, he burst into flames.
