THE WILL OF HEAVEN

CHAPTER FOUR

- THE UNKNOWN DEAL -

Zenniel was sitting on the right side of Michelle's bed and slightly talking to her daughter, Storytelling some of their wonderful memories.

"You remember when you dance in the stage and-"

She was stopped in the middle of her words when her cellphone rang. It was an unknown number. She cancelled it, but it her cellphone ring again. So she decided to answer.

"Hello.."

"I wanted to make a deal with you.."

Her forehead knotted. What in the hell is this man talkin' about?

"I don't do deal. Bye."

She said and hang up, Again her cellphone rang. She feel a little mad so decided to pick it up.

"What the f*****g hell do you want?"

But the person in the other line just laugh.

"I know something that you don't.."

She doesn't answer.

" Well, It was quite very interesting that a person like you, who works as a CEO of that company is actually a-"

"What do you want?"

"Easy! I only want you to mary Efren scoth within One week.."

She was dumbfounded,literally.

"Who are you to command me of what I do huh?"

The person on the line just laugh at her reaponse.

" I do know a lot of you Zenniel.."

She feels a little bit scared , Knowing that someone knew her.

"Just.. Just fuckin' tell me why do I have to marry him?"

" You don't want? It would be very much good for the both of you since you guys love each other, right.?"

"- and Don't deny it.."

"What would be the exchange of that f*****g deal of yours?"

"That would be after you did our deal.."

She just shrugged her shoulders, thinking it might be just a joke.

"- oh, and don't think this is just a joke. You know I can steal your daughter if I want to.."

Her heart beats fast when the person on the other line mentioned her daughter. Not in dreams someone will get her daughter away from her.

"Fine.." She coldly answered and hang up the phone. Leaving her in her deep thoughts.

Her cellphone ring again. Thinking it was the caller, she immediately answered it, But It was anna on the phone.

"Ms. Zenniel, I would like to remind you of your meet up with one of the applicants for editor.."

"Thank you for reminding me anna, Is maica around? "

"Yes ma'am.. Are you really sure about this bold deci-"

"Yes anna, Thanks for your concern but I'm sure of my decision.."

"Okay, Mr. Daniel would wait you at the office, 3 pm today.."

"Okay.. I'll be there in any hour.."

She glanced at the clock on the wall. It was still eleven in the morning. Josh was having his exams, so she was having a thought who will look for her daughter. She kisses her daughter's cheek, lips and forehead.

"Please baby, Wake up.. I'm waiting here.." She said in a whisper and gently touched her daughter's hand.

The door opened, coming in was efren. She wanted to have him out of the room but she recall the mysterious word of the caller. She had an idea of who the f**k is that caller, All she need is evidence.

"Are you okay Zenniel..?"

Efren snapped her fingers infront of her. She just smiled at him.

"Woah! What happened to you? "

"Why? "

"You smiled!!"

"Is that a big deal?"

"Well, Uhh , No but-"

"Nevermind.. Anyway, I have a meeting before 1 pm, Would you look her for me.?" She asked him with her warm voice. Efren didn't answer I'm mediately, Seems like absorbing her actions and words.

"Sure.." He then said afterwards. She gestures her hand on the chair on the opposite of where she was seating, but he still stands not so far from infront of her. His hands were at his back.

"Did you eaten?"

"Not yet.. And wasn't planning to.."

"Here, I brought a lunch for you.. You should eat.."

She took a long glance to the well pack food that efren was holding.

'That's why his hand was at his back!'

"Hey, You don't like?"

Shaking her head, She get it. Put on the table and prepared it.

"I.. I always look forward to this, And I'm glad it happen.."

Efren says while she was eating. She wanted to cursed some bad words but her inner core stops her. She just simply rolled her eyes.

" I know, I've done a lot of bad things to you, but I want to make it right, for this time.. If you will allow me.."

She swallowed hardly the food shewas eating. If not for her daughter, She would have cursed him badly.

"Please, stop! " She said in a low voice. It maybe the safest way for her not to burst out.

'unless you want to ruin your plan..'

"Sorry, I thought it would be okay.."

She nodded her head in response. There was a silence between them when her cellphone ring again. It was anna.

"Sorry for the inconvenience, but Ma'am maica said, You should be here as soon as possible.. You have an important matter to discuss .."

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute.."

She put the food in the drawer and go to the washroom. After she sanitized her hands, She was stopped for a moment, Will she feel secured if efren will look for michelle.

She stands at the door of the washroom and stare at efren's back.

'Well, There's no harm in trying, since he was his father..'

'No, He's not!' Her mind contradicts.

She walks through the door, but was stopped by him.

"Riego will took you to your meeting.."

"Who's riego?"

"My driver.. And Don't think of saying no, I insist.."

"Okay.." She said and close the door. In order for her to be able to go downstaire, She uses the elevator. And made her way to the parking lot where he see a black limo on her right side. A middle aged man comes out and waved at her.

"Good morning ma'am, I am Riego Mondragon, and I'll be your in service for now.." He said and smiled to her. He open the door infront and gestured to come in, which, of course, She gladly do it.

"Thanks.." She replied in a soft voice.

"I will follow the shortest route, Is it okay to you miss Zenniel?"

She just nodded. If they will crossed the main way, there's a tendency that she will be late in attending her meeting, which of course, she didn't want to.

'Why do i have to be the one who checked that man if his qualified?' Her mind retorted.

"You okay ma'am?"

"Yes mr. riego.."

After a while, Riego stops the car which made her confused.

"I need to poo, ma'am.."

She sighed and nod at him. She open the window and discovered they were at a forest. She knew this forest because she road trip here last year, but the feeling isn't good. She checked her cellphone and there were no signal.

'Argh..!'

She threw her cellphone at the back, gets her mini bag and open the door of the car. Her forehead knotted when she notice that riego hasn't come.

'Is it too long to poo?'

She walks to the left where the car was park when suddenly she heard a sound.

"Ughh.. Please.. Don't hurt me.."

She turn around and in a meters, She saw a four boys assaulting a man, and she knows that it is riego.

Her hand flew to her forehead, before walking calmly, on the direction of them. She wears her red mask that covering her whole face and put a black lipstick on her lips. No one should notice her real face or else, Her life will not be at peace again.

"Hello boys.." She said with a scary smile. The boys just looked at her and laugh.

"Look, The knight in shining armour!"

"She's like a lost human HAHAH.."

"Hey man! It's not yet halloween.."

She walked gracefully to the direction of the man who wears a Blue jaggers and Green Shirt. She touched his shoulders.

"Men! Are you gay?"

"She's a girl dude.."

"Whoa.. Easy, Do you want to have fun..?"

Her gaze turned to the man who said it. His height was 5'5 and His skin color was white, While the other was 6 ft. and a black man.

'Uh..another bullshit kid..'

"Yeah.. Sure.."She said and wink at him while getting a thing on her bag, directly stabbing it to the chest of the man infront of her. He gasped because of pain.

"Holy mother fucker!"

"What the hell you've done..!"

"Your crazy.."

She look at riego's body and said in a full voice.

"Get back in the car, now.."

The white man tries to give a blow but she bends her body and rounds her hand, wrecking his shirt.

"Nice try kiddy!" She said in sarcasm.

"f**k you! Whoever you are.."

Her smile fade away, when she hear him cursed her. She slowly walk to him, While he steps backward trying to get a weapon at his back. He touch a piece of wood and smash it to her face. She almost get down on the ground, just her hand were controlling her body not to fall. Her rage in her heart finally comes out.

"Beat this, whoever bullshit you are.!!" He said and will smash it for the second but Her quick movement made him fall to the ground. She held the wood, squeeze it made a rainbow move and made a fatal smash to his head causing him to knock down.

"Beat your ass! Motherfucker.." She angrily said and turned her glance to the two remaining boys, who were looked too scared.

"I, I am.. We... We are sorry..."

"Please.. Please, Don't kill us.."

Wiping her sweat, She turned her back and speak.

"I'll spare the two of you now, But once I'll see you again, I'll rip out your bones.. Now, Get your friend in the hospital if you don't want them to die.."

Closing the door of the car, She look at riego who was at her seat and was looking at her.

"You okay..?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm.. I'm just.."

She starts the engine and drove it.

"Whatever you see, Leave it there. Are we clear riego?"

"Yes.. Yes ma'am.."

"Good, Once my indentity revealed, I'll find you.."

"ye.. yes.. yes ma'am.. copy.." Riego answered stuttering.

She glanced at her clock and It was still 30 minutes and she'll be late. They come across a good Clothes shop. Her eyes flew down to her shirt, There's a spilled blood.

'Ugh! Why do blood splash!'

Her eyes flew to riego and saw his black shirt.

"Give me your shirt.."

"but-"

She raised her left eyebrow at him, and throw a cold glance. He nod and took off his shirt. She make it as a crop top and goes out to the car, walking to the shop.

'Sometimes, I'm gonna get another clothes incase of..!'

So far, Zenniel made it on time to meet up with maica.

"So what made you rush me to come here?"

"Ma'am-"

"Zenniel.."

"Well, Remember rocky and the other former board of directors?"

"uhuh?"

"I've been in a press conference lately, And some stupid people are trying to point out that our company was a copy cat of their company.."

"What a lame move! Those people, I believed, was bribe by money.."

"Agree on that. I've defended our company but Their force was too strong. We have only each other supporting this company and I'm afraid to say they will win if we will not make a move.."

"What are they planning?"

"They were planning- no rather innovating a company and make it look like ours.. And some of their employees were copy righting some of the successful and famous stories.."

"And that was illegal.."

"I know, But business is business, either that's legal or illegal.."

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm afraid we need to convince Mr. Hajima to be our one of trade partners.."

"Hajima? Hiro Hajima? "

"Yes .."

Zenniel fell for a silent.

"I need full information of him.. Just send it tonight on my sss. I'll think of way.."

"And by the way, Last thursday, The company was hacked. But atleast our hacker here knows very well to handle it.."

Her presence and emotions became serious. Whoever did that awful things must really want her fall.

"They Steal some of our information, but not all.."

She took a zip on her juice and stared at the glass table, then speak afterwards.

"Let them-"

"WHAT? BUT IT'S TOO DANGEROUS.."

"Trust me .. It would be easier for us to track down those hackers.."

"Okay, I trust you.. Besides I know you have plans.."

Maica also drink her juice.

"Anyway, I was planning to launch a branch of our company outside the region.. Would that be okay?"

"That's pretty good, But I suggest you need to an online platform about your purpose so you can calculate if the branch of our company will work out.."

"Sounds great.. That's why I stay.. Cause you are a good leader."

She made a laugh upon hearing that.

"thanks.."

Maica's phone ring.

"Excuse me for a second.."

She nodded and took a peek on her cellphone. After awhile, Maica returned with a huge smile on her face.

"Daniel's here.."

"And?"

"I was just a little bit excited err.."

"Is he a fresh graduate or?"

"No, He graduated years before. Actually, he was formerly one of the best editor in town.."

"If that's the case, then Why do I have to consolidate him if he's qualified?"

"I just believe in your ability.."

She laugh again.

"I don't have an eagle eye .."

Maica was about to answer when there was a knock.

"Mr. Daniel is here ma'am, Would I let him in?"

"Yes.." Maica answered with her middle voice. The door opened and coming in was a tall, muscular and a tan guy.

"He's cute.." Maica whispered at her ear which she just shrugged. Maica then leave them two.

"Hello, You must be daniel.." She first speak in a formal tone.

"Yes ma'am.." He answered and sit on one of the chairs inside the room. She raised her eyebrows at him.

"Did I ask you to sit?"

Daniel was a bit shamed so he stand up, blushing. She tried to suppress her laugh but after a while, She burst into it. Daniel just eyeing her, curious of what's she's laughing.

"Just kidding, You can sit.." She said and smile at him.

"So, I heard you were one of the best editor in town? formerly?"

"Yes, But that was year's ago.."

She opened his credentials and it takes her a minute to read it all

'Not bad' Her mind commented when she read the recommendation of his formerly bosses.

'Such a good one! I wonder why'd stop?'

"I don't want to spend much time because I do have a lot responsibilities, so.." She stop for a minute and then continued.

"You'll start by tommorow, Anna will tour you around the company and also to your office.. I hope you will be responsible. Goodluck.."

He stretch his hand which she gladly accepted.

"Thank you Ma'am Zenniel.."

"Welcome, And have a good day Mr. Daniel Hilton.."
