“I swear, Via before graduation—hindi na virgin yang si Yliam.” I blatantly said. Papauwi na kami at kasalukuyang kumakain ng banana cue. Nalalakad lang naman ang mansion namin at nadadaanan rin lang ang maliit na bahay nina Olivia kaya I preferred walking every afternoon.
Nakasunod lang sa’min ang sasakyan ko. Yeah, this was my everyday routine. “I thought, you’re not interested with horses, anak? Are you sure?” Mom asked me here how sure I was! Hayst.. Sunod-sunod kong nilunok ang lemon juice that she prepared for me. Glad she was at home at wala siyang appointment bukas! But then, mom just remind me of my dislikes of horses, cows, and farm animals.. Urg! Ano pa ba ang pwedeng i-alibi ko para makatungtong ako sa hacienda Ademar?
Hmm.. To pick some mangoes or harvest some sugar caneskaya!? Hayss… Lame!
“I..I wanted to try it, mom! I heard, their horses are great and well-trained—kaya gusto kong subukan this time.” I was crossing my fingers for this. I was not even sure if Yliam would stay in their mansion during weekends pero gusto kong subukan ngayon ang diskarte ko sa kaniya.
“I’ll call Mrs. Ademar.” Yay! Masaya akong tumayo at niyakap siya. Excited akong tumakbo sa taas at pumasok sa kwarto ko. I reached my phone on the table and dialed Olivia’s number.
“Val, napatawag ka? Gabi na, a..” Jeez naman! It’s only 8:30 in the evening—natutulog na siya sa gan’tong oras? I slammed myself on my fluffy bed full of aqua-colored stuffs—I hate pink, sorry..
“Jeez, listen, Via.. Tomorrow, I’ll be visiting the Ademar Hacienda with my mom.” I even bit my lower lip envisioning Yliam on my mind as I was saying that. I was so freaking out!
“Ah, okay? H-Hindi naman si Yliam ang pupuntahan mo ron, ‘di ba?” Ba’t ba gusto ko siyang batukan!? Eh, alam naman niya na si Yliam lang ang balak ko dun.. Alangan naman sa mga kabayo talaga ako may gusto para sadyaan talaga dun—I hate them! I can’t stand the smell of them pero bukas I’ll try to like them.
“Hayst! Si Yliam at ang virginity niya, okay? I’m so excited—isasama sana kita pero I remembered you’ll be helping your mom sa paglalabada.. Don’t worry, I’m gonna spill everything on Monday.” Narinig ko lang itong bumuntong-hininga saka ako nagpaalam. Kahit kaylan ay hindi ko maramdaman na suportado ni Olivia ang objectives ko towards Yliam—nakakatampo siya minsan..

Masayang nagkwentohan sina mommy at tita Ysla sa may harden. Habang may nag-escort sa’kin papunta sa horse farm nila sakay ng isang golf car. Urg! No!
“Uhm, can I use the bathroom first? Wait here nalang..” I excused myself sa nakatalagang escort ko. Tita Ysla assured my mom that Mang Lucas was the best horse trainer that they had. Well, hindi naman talaga ito ang pinunta ko rito, right?
“Opo, maam.” Bumaba ako saka naglakad pabalik sa mansion. Hindi na ako dumaan sa harden at dumiretso ako sa loob.
“Lost?” Napaiktad ako nang may nagsalita mula sa bandang living room. Gosh, the little brother—whose hot as Yliam was here!

“You’re not here for Yliam, right miss Valerie?” How the hell he knew about my thoughts and my name!? Napamulagat akong nakatingin sa kaniya. Was he good in mind reading?
“O-Of course not! Why would I?” Kaagad kong depensa. How on earth did he knew about my inner agenda!? I was sure Olivia wouldn’t dare to spill it! Hindi naman siya close sa mga Ademar..
Nagkibit-balikat lang ito saka itinuon ang pansin sa pag-fe-feed sa mga isda na nasa malaking aquarium.

“Really, huh? Since you drag his name here—nasaan nga pala ang kapatid mo?” Walang gatol na tanong ko sa kaniya. Napapailing ito.
“He’s at the horse farm.” What!? Nandun siya ngayon!? “Aw, thanks, Yzylla!” Nagmamadali akong tumalikod rito na ngiting-ngiti. He’s there! Gosh.. Tamang-tama naman pala ang alibi ko..
“Walang comfort room sa farm, Miss.” Narinig kong sabi niya. I raised my hand and waved goodbye to him. “Thanks, by the way!” Saka lakad-takbo akong lumapit sa naghihintay na golf car—sumakay ako at excited na nagtungo sa horse farm.
