Serenity Pov
The minute we got on the ship everyone was super nervous. Selene and I were so happy and excited to be going back home.
"So how long is it going to take?" Derek asked.
"I told you we don't have a measure of time," I told him. "We will be there in no time though." Venus and Samantha took us to one of the chambers so we could sit and relax until we arrived.
"Wow, everything is so pretty," Max said.
"Are you sure this is okay?" Selene said. "I mean, are you guys going to miss Earth."
"There is nothing there for us," Derek answered. "Anyone that would care or be concerned about us is on this ship." All the kids looked at each other and then smiled.
"WE ARE GOING TO SPACE," Jesse said. "When do we take off?"
"Um Jesse, we already did," I told him.
"Wait, I want to see the moon or an asteroid," he said eagerly.
"You sure?" I asked him. He nodded and I extended my hand so he could take it. I took him into the control room so he could look out the window.
"WOW," he was smiling from ear to ear. "THIS IS SO COOL."
"Thank you," Chris said to me as he came to stand beside me.
"I think this is where you belong," I told him. He smiled at me and then tried to grab my hand.
"Serenity, we need to have a word with you and your sister, NOW!" Cloud said.
"That's your dad," Chris asked.
"Yeah," I said as I walked back to the room to get Selene.
"Do you have any idea what you're doing?" Cloud said to me.
"Um-," they're not prepared for our world.
"But, I-," this time my mother interrupted me.
"Why?" she said softly.
"I saw Alexander, and after talking to my grandfather I just thought I would help them. I wasn't thinking but I also had a vision," I tried to explain to them.
"Okay," my mother said. Both my fathers looked at her and they sighed. "We've missed you both so much." Selene and I ran to her and hugged her.
We were finally arriving so I ran to everyone and told them to lookout.
"WOAH!" Jesse SAID. "It has rings like Saturn and look at how blue it is."
"What are those?" Max asked.
"Those are the moons of Callisto. We have 6 moons," I answered.
"Wow!" everyone said.
"I can't believe this," Janet said.
"Breathe, just breathe, your okay," I tried to reassure her. She simply nodded and took a deep breath.
We entered the planet and headed straight for the palace.
"It's so beautiful," Olivia said.
"Welcome home, girls," V said.
I was happy to be back and I knew the first place I wanted to go. We landed and I asked Selene to show the kids around the palace. I wanted to go to the trinity spirit church, an old looking building on the other side of the hill by the palace. It had three towers and looked like it was made out of gold. It was the place I missed the most. I entered the church and was immediately at peace. There was water flowing throughout the walls of the room. The wall in front of me was covered in fire. The air in the room was cold. All of the elements began to circle around me so I kneeled down in the center of the room and closed my eyes.
"Serenity!"
"Serenity!"
"Serenity!"
Everything was so dark and cold. I felt my heart race and I wanted to find the person calling me.
"Serenity!" I made it to the voice and it was Chris. Blood started to come out of his mouth, nose, and ears.
"NOOOOO!" I shouted. I then saw Selene, she looked different. She looked angry and upset. She came charging at me. She was about to strike me but I opened my eyes and it all disappeared.
"Spirits, what was that," I said. I didn't know what to feel but so many emotions were running through my mind. I left and met up with everyone.
"How's it going," I tried to say calmly.
"This is so cool," Max said. "I can't believe we are on another planet."
"Are you okay?" Chris asked. "You look-,"
"I'm fine," I said quickly.
"Chris!" Selene called. I saw her face light up and she ran over to take his hand. "Come with me, I want to show you something."
Chris looked at me one last time before he ran off with Selene. I noticed Venus and Samantha staring at me.
"I need to speak to my mother," I said as I walked away. I went to the throne room and asked my mother to interpret my visions.
"I don't know what to say," my mother said. "The spirits give you the visions you need, not the ones we want."
"I know that mother but what do they mean," I said.
"They can mean anything but I can tell you care about this boy," my mother told me.
"I do but Selene does also and I won't take that from her," I said.
"What are you taking from her, his eyes fall only on you," she said. "You both need to speak to her about your feelings. You cannot make her think something that isn't true, she will understand."
"I hope so, but I don't even know what I want," I said.
"Yes you do, you have always known," she smiled. "It is almost time. Serenity, you knew this day would come and I need to know you are ready."
"READY? Ready to kill you, no I am not," I said harshly. "I don't know if I can do it. I know you won't give Selene your Phoenix Spirit but what if I am not meant to have it either."
"Who else would be meant to if not you," she said.
"The first vision I had, I don't, it just made me feel like it would be someone else," I said honestly.
"I know you are scared, so was I but this is your birthright," she said. "You need to be prepared. It will be sooner then you think."
