I Won't Let You Hurt Them

Serenity Pov
The kids were all still very much amused by my powers. Almost every day they asked me to show them something new. I tried to entertain them but I was scared to use my powers around them. It was one of those days we didn't have to go to school so we were all outside. The boys were playing with an orange ball and Max and Jessie were trying to get me to freeze things. Everyone was having a good time but I looked over at Chris and he was very tense. Janet was on the phone all day. Sometimes she would sound angry and upset, other times she would sound sad and began to cry. A man came over and they started arguing. Chris and Derek both went inside and started arguing with the man too.
"You Stupid b***h," I heard the man yell.
"Leave, Now!" I heard Janet shout. We all ran to the front of the house and saw the man being pushed out by Derek and Chris.
"You f*****g kids," the man shouted as he tried to raise his hand and hit Chris. I used my air spirit to pull him away. The man fell to the ground and hit is head on the side of his car.
"Oh no," I gasped. I saw blood and ran. I ran away because I knew I had done it again. I heard Selene and Chris call out for me to stop and come back but I just ran. I ran until I couldn't anymore. I ran until I knew I couldn't be caught. I ended up at the crash site. I walked over to the ship and hit it over and over again.
I wanted to burn it and break it. I was so angry. I just wanted to hurt someone, anyone.
"Serenity," I heard Selene call out. I turned around and she was stepping out of Janet's car.
"Serenity, please," Chris was looking at me like his whole world was falling apart too. Chris began to walk towards me and then I saw something I wasn't expecting.
"Dark spirit holders!" Selene shouted. I pushed Chris out of the way and created a fireball.
"HOLY s**t!" I heard Janet scream. I didn't have time to turn around because the dark spirit holders attacked. I had to protect everyone standing behind me. Somehow more showed up and I decided to create an ice sword.
"Serenity," I heard Chris and Selene say. This was my duty, this was my fight. I had to protect them. I had to prove my worth and my ability. I was the future Phoenix King and I wouldn't let them down. I would use all the things my fathers have taught me and defeat my enemy.
"I WON'T LET THEM HURT YOU," I yelled before running to strike three dark spirit holders. I was outnumbered but I knew my strength. I took a deep breath and kept fighting. Even if I got hurt, Even if I didn't make it, I had to know they would. I charged at them again and again but they were a tough match. I felt my spirits boiling inside me as the dark spirit holders made there way past me.
"I WON'T LET YOU HURT THEM!" I used all three of my spirit powers at the same time to create a force of energy and I blasted them with it. A few dark spirits were left crawling trying to get up and attack me again. I was exhausted and don't think I had anything left in me.
"Serenity," I heard the one voice I wanted to hear more than any other.
"Mother," I cried out. My mother was standing there with her Phoenix sword looking like a true KING. She swiftly used it to kill the remaining dark spirit holders. It looked effortless and she looked beautiful. I ran to her the minute she put her sword down.
"Oh, my lovely little girl, you did good," she said. I hugged her so tight. I didn't want to ever let go. I felt Selene come up behind me and joined our hug.
"My sweet Selene, I have missed you," my mother said. I missed her voice so much.
"I missed you too," Selene said.
"WE READY TO GO HOME!" I heard my father say.
"Cloud," I ran to him and he quickly lifted me up and spun me around.
"Hey kid," V said to me. "Come here, my little trouble maker." Selene ran to V and gave him a big hug. Venus and Samantha were waiting by the ship. I smiled at them and as much as I wanted to run to them and hug them too I looked back at Chris and his family.
We slowly walked back to them.
"Your leaving?" Chris said somberly.
"Yeah, that's our mom and dad's," I said.
"I thought you guys were twins, you have two different dads?" Max asked confused.
"Shut up," Chris said. "I'm going to miss you." I looked over at Selene and she looked a bit hurt that he said it looking at me.
"We are going to miss all of you," I said back.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON," Janet shouted.
"Serenity," Chris pulled me away from everyone. I could feel my father's eyes on us. "I don't know what to say but I know I can't let it end like this."
"Come with us," I said.
"WHAT," Chris said shocked at my request.
"Come with us, you have nothing truly tying you to this planet. You will all have a better life in Callisto with us. With me," I said.
"All of us? you want all of us to go," he said.
"Of course, you guys are a family," I said. We both looked over at Janet.
"Wait, WHAT!" Janet said still very much confused.
"Come with us, if you don't like it, we can bring you back, but it's a chance at a better life for all of you," the kids were looking at me excitingly and Janet was starting to lose her mind. Chris looked into my eyes and smiled.
