The Reluctant Luna

Savannah POV *Nightmare * 'No Daddy please No!!' I scream I'm suddenly aware of someone trying to wake me up I open my hazel eyes to see the blue eyes of my worried mum 'Savannah ssh it's alright its just a bad dream shh I'm here' Mum soothes me folding me into a gentle hug. My Dad was killed in a rouge attack a couple of months ago - and I witnessed it I remember the rouge standing over my Dad's life less body and my Mum and I screaming then I remember Alpha David the rest is a blank. I do remember being by my Dad's side at the medical wing when they pronounced him dead it's this memory that keeps giving me the nightmares. My mum gently folds me in a hug she rubs my hair I allow her scent to calm me, Amber my wolf tries to calm me. I'm pouring with sweat my mum fetches me a cold flannel and a new nightie 'Hey sweet girl Alpha David killed the rougue you and your mum are safe' Amber soothes 'I know thank you Amber' Amber settles off as my mum helps me change, I try to settle back off to sleep. I awake to hear my mum on the phone she sounds excited. I look at my clock it's 8.30 am Urgh! Who phones at this time if the morning 'Fiona of course - her best friend!' . Amber purrs she is excited about the move she wants to find our mate - me I'm not in any hurry to find a mate Mum decided it would be best for me if we went back to her old pack, her best friend since they were pups- Fiona is Luna of the Blue moon pack, mum thought if we could move away from the Red moon pack it would help with my nightmares. I decide to finish my packing before going for breakfast 'Yes Fiona we are both looking forward to seeing you later oh I have to go there is some one at the door' 'Alpha David please come in' Urgh! Alpha David he doesn't have a mate, he's been sniffing around me I don't really want to see him - I stay in my door way and listen to their conversation 'I'm sorry it has come to this I suppose there isn't anything I can do or say to make you change your mind?' David asks 'I'm sorry Alpha but Savannah hasn't been herself since her father died she needs a change of environment'.......... I'm sat in the car my mum is driving along listening to music I look down at my painful wrists there is a slight bruise forming *Flash back* 'Can I see Savannah before you go?' 'Yes of course go on up she is finishing her packing' Shit! I quickly move from my doorway I am coming out of my room when Alpha David reaches me. He is handsome muscular with bright blonde hair and dark green eyes under any other circumstances maybe. 'Hi Savannah I have a properstion for you I know you' re set for going with your mum but I was hoping you would stay here and be my Luna my mate I can give you anything you desire just accept me' It was only when Amber growled that realise he boxed me in his strong arms either side of my head 'I'm sorry Alpha but I can't be your Luna I need to be with my mum I need to be away from here'. David doesn't like my answer he grabs my wrist and he starts to hurt me I whimper it's then that Amber starts to come forward and I don't stop her 'Alpha David you need to let go of Savannah we are not destined to be mates we will never be yours'. I pull my wrists from his grip and bolt to the car, I quickly get into the car willing my mum to hurry up she is talking to Alpha David Come on Mum! As she drives off I look back to see Alpha David. *End of flashback * David POV Dam! Why? I had everything worked out Dam her Mum having to work late! She should have been with Savannahs Dad and they both would have been killed by the rougue and Savannah would be mine! 'Savannah is not destined to be ours remember you rejected our mate! My wolf Jason growls he doesn't want Savannah he thinks she' s nice enough but he wants his mate she still lives in the pack she still wants me but I do my best to ignore her its Savannah I want I need to go see her. I reach her house and I see Jaynes car it's full but they are still here this is my last chance, I knock on the door 'Oh I have to go there is someone at the door'. Jayne opens the door she looks surprised to see me 'Alpha David please come in'. I know Jason doesn't want me to be here but it's Savannah I want All was going well until she turned me down - I was not expecting that I grab her wrist how dare she turn us down! 'No! David she turned you down not me! Jason reminds me It' s only when her wolf Amber comes forward do I realise I'm hurting her and scaring her Sh*t!! Whilst I'm distracted she pulls out of my grip and runs off Sh*t! I have scared her I have to fix this some how! I go after her to see she has gotten into the car her Mum is fussing around when she comes up to the front porch 'Guess this is good bye Alpha David - thank you for all you have done for me and my family'. She hands me the keys to the house and goes to the car I see Savannah she is clearly shaken by what's just happened she isn't supposed to be scared of me she is supposed to love me! 'Well I think you have pretty much scuppered your chances with her and besides do you think she will forgive you when she finds out that you are behind the death of her father?' 'Shut it Jason! I know what I' m doing Savannah will return and be mine weather the moon goddess like it or not! '
