Savannah POV

I look quizzical at Daniel as he sits down

'So are you going to tell me what Duncan said?' I ask

'He told me not to hurt you or push you'

I smile I've only known him for a day and already he's like the big brother I never had.

I look at Daniel I can tell he's trying to think about what he's going to say part of me wants to walk away and never look at him again but the other part of me wants to forgive and forget

'Savannah look I want to apologise for what happened with us in the past and you' re right I don't deserve you as my mate but I would really like the chance to try - all I've ever wanted is a mate someone strong and beautiful I truly thank the moon goddess for blessing me as your mate and I promise to make your dreams come true and I promise to protect you and I also promise that we will take it at your speed'.

Amber is practically purring me on the other hand I'm not so sure - yes it happened years ago but it left me with emotional scars that were just starting to heal.

'Come on Savannah! You need to let go of the past to have a future!' Amber says pleading with me

'I know Amber but he needs to prove his worth to me'.

I look at Daniel and I know he is waiting for an answer.

'Daniel this is very difficult for me especially with what is going on at the moment however I know that having a mate makes life easier'. I see the hope in Daniels eyes

'I really hope we don't live to regret this Amber!''

'You won't I will make sure of it I got your back!' Amber declares

'I will accept you as my mate but I do have condions first I want an apology from Tyler and Elliot second I want to take this slow and third you will mark me when I am ready'.

Daniel POV

I've put my heart on the line the suspense is killing me

'I will accept you as my mate but I do have conditions firstly I want an apology from Tyler and Elliott second I want to take this slow and third you will mark me when I am ready' Savannah sits across from me waiting for an answer

'Dude you know you can't say no they seem like reasonable conditions to me' Ajax implores me

'Very well Savannah I accept your conditions'. Truth be told I would accepted any conditions if it means I can be with her. I mind link Tyler and Elliot to come over and apologise.

They both come over to our table and apologise for what happened in the past Savannah seems to be happy with this, she glances at her watch

'I have to go my mum will be back from her job soon'

'Well Savannah may I give you a lift home?' I ask hopefully that I haven't gone too far

'That would be great thanks'. Ajax is howling with glee and so am I

Savannah POV

It seems to me that Daniel would do anything to be my mate I do feel happier and safer that I have accepted Daniel I just need to tell him what's happening

'Daniel I know I have just accepted you as my mate but I feel you need to know what is going on at the moment - I feel I owe it to you'.

'OK but you know you don't owe me anything' Daniel replys

'Is there anywhere we can pull in and we can talk I just need to text Mum to let her know where I am'

Daniel nods and turns up a dirt track

We pull up in a beauty spot - a hill that over looks the whole territory we get out of his Ford SUV and walk over to a bench wow its amazing

' What I am about to tell you I have already told your Father I went to see him this morning, so I saw a rouge kill my Father......'

Daniel POV

I can't believe that she feels she owes me an explanation truth is though I know most of what she is going to say

'Ajax we need to play this cool I know it's going to be hard but we have to listen'

'I know Dude'.

I listen as she tells me about her fathers death and Alpha David I feel Ajax growl

'Then last night I have the same nightmare except this time I am seeing my father's death in the street and a big shadow from my left and it's bothering me - you see Alpha David killed the rouge but I don't remember mind linking him and nieither does mum he just seemed to get there too quick and he seems to come from the direction of the shadow, Daniel tell me am I over thinking things because of what happened with Alpha David or is this nightmare trying to tell me something? '

I run my hands through my hair and sigh deeply Chloe was only able to tell me bits

' Truthfully I don't know Savannah thank you for telling me I know it can't have been easy but I promise you that together we will figure this out'.

'Savannah my grandmother has a gift for understanding dreams maybe we could go to her'.

She shuffles next to me and I put my arm around her I then realise that she's crying I pull my arm from around her and turn to her l gently cup her cheeks in my hands and lift her head wiping away tears with my thumb I look into her eyes I gently kiss her on her lips.

Savannah POV

Before I can think I shuffle up next to him and he puts a protective arm around me it's at that moment I start to cry not because of the contact - because I had bottled up my emotions and because I was with my mate I could let go.

He pulls his arm from around me - oh no! I've frightened him off!

But instead of leaving he turns me to face him and gently lifts my head up he wipes my tears away with his thumbs I look deep in to his eyes and before I know what's happening he gently kisses me.

He pull from the kiss and looks at me I feel love I lunge at him he is startled at first but soon he is kissing me, he licks my lower lip I allow him access to my mouth his tongue explores my mouth

Amber is howling.

We break off the kiss needing to breath wow I feel sparks of pure pleasure I know I wanted to take this slow but I feel I want him to mark me here and now - no! I have to take this slow and steady.

Daniel drives me home we sit in a comfortable silence we pull up at my house

'So you want me to come pick you up in the morning?'

'I would love that'.

Jayne POV

I know she sent me a text message but I'm still worried for her I'm just about to ring her again when I see a Ford SUV pull up I immediately see Savannah but I can't see the driver, not wanting to spy on her I quickly move away from the window and sit down on the couch

Savannah walks in wearing the biggest smile I have seen in weeks and I smell another wolf

'So anything happened at school today?' I raise an eyebrow at the her and she simply shurgs

'Well if you must know Mum I have made new friends and I have found my mate - it's Daniel the Alpha' s son and yes before you ask we have kissed' Savannah replies as a matter of fact.

I can help but smile I'm so happy for her I'm glad she found her mate.

Daniel POV

I get home and tell my mum and dad about Savannah and her dream and that I am picking her up in the morning.

I get settled in bed when I hear a blood curdling scream and I know who it is

'Savannah!!!'
