This dinner is an inch perfect, from the place to decor and to the host. Mhmm he looks so handsome. Today he is not alone, there's this beauty that I saw him walking with. She looks Mixed. They are dressed up do nicely.

The lady of the house is in dark blue oblique one side off shoulder long sleeve dress, silver pumps pointy heels, silver clutch bag and diamond bracelet. Her hair is a 8 inch curly weave she topped it with silver rounded strip earrings. She's gorgeous and looks younger than me. The host is in a dark navy blue scotch suit, white shirt and silver/grey tie. He topped his attire with gold watch.

The Mc welcomes us. It's the 5th one and like I knew this guy scored top score because he got to invite the judge and the second is some guy who was graced by Barry Roux's presence.

"Are you still good?" Travis asks holding my hand. We are being shown to our seats.

"Yeah I am good. And are you okay yourself Babe ?" I ask

"Yeah just that I am worried about who they going to choose to be next year's host. I don't think I am ready to host" he says.

"You'll never be ready. I guess it just comes with doing it and let it flow" I say. He opens the chair for me to sit

It's a long table. The decor is black with touch of white and gold. There are artificial and live plants around. It's just exquisite. Money is speaking for the host. Speaking of the devil, he comes to us and greets once again.

"I see you have made it Patton and once in your life you didn't disappoint me." He says

"Talk you have already met my annoying friend Adam. Please introduce the lady of the house man and stop being a jerk" Travis says to Adam and they both laugh. Men!!!!!

"Oh your worship this is Lili my date for the night and Lili this is Talitha and Travis." Adam says.

I stand to give Lili a hug. Travis and Adam continue with whatsoever that they are talking about. I ask for the loo and Lili offers to take me there.

"Nice decor theme" I say to Lili

"Thank you even though it was last minute things Adam's friend's girlfriend came through for him" she says. What is last minute in this event cause everything looks perfect

"Believe me it is. The event planner we hired mixed up dates with another event" she says

"According to the elders we are meant to be together. So they wanted us to get married but we are not in love with each other. The escape was to fool the parents that we trying to date then we'll see marriage" she says. Too deep I didn't even realise that we reached our table

"Finally you are back I was about to send search party" Travis says and I half roll my eyes before he sees it

"A lady deserves a minute and half " Lili says and I smile at her. Adam comes back for her and the vanish into the crowd. Travis excuses himself. I am not seated with 3 ladies as most people a are gathered on the open space to dance.

"Are you and Travis dating or you are just accompanying him to the event" the lady opposite me asks

Before I could answer Travis kisses my mouth and sits down with "I am back, want us to go dance". What did I miss??? We stand up and go to the dance floor. His hand find my waist and I put my hands on his shoulders and we move to the rhythm of the song

"So what's up with you and the girl on our table" I ask

"Nothing she has this undying crush for me to make matters worse her boyfriend is my friend" he says.

"Nah I don't like playing sorry with someone's person, it never ends well" he says

"Ladies and gentlemen. I know this is not how things are normally done but today we are going to have a turnaround of the event. My partner asked me to nominate two best dressed people. They will be crowned and receive some goodies. Trust me I didn't know there are even crowns but it's women's doing." Adam says and Lili pushes him lightly. They are both on the stage

"I have analysed everyone's outfit and I must say y'all look beautiful thank evening but unfortunately I get to choose one best dressed woman and man. Drum roll please" they gave her the drum roll. The two chosen are we found to be looking elegant and the fact that their attires are unique. So ladies and gentlemen a round of applause for Mr Montgomery and Miss Curtis" Lili says

Did she just?? Did she call out my name? Yes she did cause Adam approaches us to escort me to the stage and Lili escorts the best dressed man. Oh okay!!
