Not looking for trouble
Alexa
I run as fast as I can in wolf form, I dare not look behind me because I know they are after me. I jump over logs, under them and run between the trees to try to shake them off, but to no avail.
I hear a shot and not long after I notice a nasty pain in the left thigh. I lose focus a bit and I end up falling off a cliff and ending up in the water.
"f**k!" I hear one of the hunters shout before the hunter is out of range.
I'm trying to get out of the water, I'm getting up with a little help from rocks. I get out of the water and walk limply into the forest, I look towards the shot wound that does not heal.
I try to contact my wolf, but I can not. I notice I'm a little scared, not only that, the bullet is there and it stings.
I get into another herd of territory before I collapse and transform into a human being.
I have never felt so sick before, we with the wolf gene do not get sick except when we are pregnant.
I look down at my left thigh, I try the hardest I can and pull out my claws on my left hand, something I manage after struggling a bit. I use the claws and stick them into the shot wound, I try not to scream in pain. I find the bullet and pull it out, what I think is strange is that the bullet will sting on contact.
I look up at the sky and see that it is around noon. I hear wolves howling in the distance, I hear the running paws right after. After ten minutes, they're here. I'm almost one hundred percent sure this is a patrol. They transform and I see men.
"What are you doing in our territory?" Asks the man in front.
I look up at him wearily.
"I ran away from hunters and ended up in the river," I say honestly.
The man looks down at the bleeding little shot hole, then the bullet lying on the ground.
"Did you pull out the bullet yourself?" Asks another who is a little further back.
"I'm not looking for trouble," I say, getting up.
When I take a step, I collapse on my knees shortly after.
"Unfortunately you do not get that far. The alpha will meet you," says the man in front.
I am lifted up by my arms by two other men, they hold me up by having my arms on their shoulders.
"Bring the bullet without touching it," says the man who is possibly the captain of the herd.
During the trip to the alpha, I half fall asleep several times.
"The silver must still be in her system." I hear the man on my side say.
"The bullet must have been filled with a lot of silver. Possibly they have done this so that it can fall off some small pieces of silver so it will stay in the blood for a while. Without treatment she dies, that's for sure," says the man in front.
