The wolf in the forest

In the oldest of folklore,the wolves are the guardians of nature and protector of the world between magic and humans. They keep the humans out of reach. Every healthy Wolf pack has a bond with good witches. Witches are the connection to their moon goddess. Witches are said to be the guardians of balance in nature. White magic is holy, as it only heals and spread life. Good witches practice only white and know that, all magic comes at the price of giving, some kind of an offering, an energy that only seeks balance. Only an insane or mad witch would use black magic. As it is said that it marks your soul. White wolves are said to be the most rare and are the most beloved by the moon goddess. They hold a special magic, a magic good witches can draw energy and power from, if they have a bond. A bond made of free will, like a contract. It is said that the first witch is the one who bound people and wolves together, becoming a werewolf. There was scarifies of living normal life for humans and for wolves, but the both gained each others powers. A bond that is to be an horror. If it is broken, legends tells stories about, about the bad luck that will follow you like a dark and heavy shadow. Both witches and wolves live amongst their own. In groups, witches have covens and wolves have packs. They have hierarchy amongst their own and between each other. The wolves have their Alpha and Luna as head of the pack, while witches have priestess and priest or witch queen. Depending on their level of magic. Only those who work together will be strong. But there's a lot of packs and covens and far from all can be trusted in the world of magic and different kinds of supernatural beings. War is always around the corner. My name is Olivia and I'm going to take you with me on my journey, as I discover the secrets my family have kept from me and the incredible world, I didn't know existed, but very much belonged to. A place were I found a new part of me, like I have woken some kind of magic inside. The Wolf in the forrest. Chapter One – Waking Up. As I woke up, I could feel I was laying on the ground. I was cold, feeling the grass with my hands. As I open my eyes, I see I’m in the forest or maybe a park and its night time. How did I get here? And why was I past out? My head and body was hurting and I couldn’t remember anything at all. Before I could get oriented, a woman came up to me asking ”Are you okay?”. “I don’t really know" I answer, getting more confused. She helps me situp and ask me ”Don't you think we should take you to the hospital?” She does look concerned. So I decide to go with her. Her car is parked close to where she found me and as we approach the car, she opens the door and I get in the back seat. A man, sitting in the drivers seat, turns around to looks at me. ”Hello miss, I’m Tom and will be driving you. Are you okay? We saw you laying there all lifeless”.I don’t know the answer and tells him ”I’m sorry I scared you, but I don’t know, I don’t remember anything but the nice woman". The woman get in from the other side and sits right next to me. ”My name is Lilly and don’t you be sorry, I’m glad we found you and can help you". I look at her thinking she is really nice. What a caring woman. She has dark grey hair and blue eyes. Her face makes me feel safe for some reason. Like she is someone I should know. ”Thank you" I answer, before I feel myself drift off. When I wake up I can hear many voices and footsteps around me and from the back I can hear Lilly say ”Please help the girl and make sure she is taken care of, I’ll be back later to check on her and the circumstances of this”. I hear the doctors reassure her. My eyes are just so heavy and I drift off again... When I wake up, I don’t feel so bad and my eyes opens easily this time... The sun is falling on me trough the window and I realize that it must have been long I’ve been asleep. I sit up and a voice says ”Good morning dear". At the other end of the room is Lilly, sitting in the big chair. She smiles at me, gets up and walks over to me. ”How are you feeling?”. ”I feel a lot better and I don’t feel any pain anymore" I answer. But its confusing and i think she notice.”The doctor fixed you up and gave you something to sleep on, your body was exhausted and you had wounds all over. I didn’t want you waking up to that kind of pain, so i told them to make you sleep through it. I hope that’s okay?”. ”Thank you" I said, not sure why she is this kind to me. ”I still don’t remember anything at all” I stare down, feeling so sad and confused.”You said that before, so I tried to find out what happen. I’m... I’m sorry, but it seems like you were attacked. By two men. We haven’t found them yet, but I’m sure that’s just a matter of time”.Getting even more confused... what does she mean ”we”? She continues ”And we have found out where you came from, but earlier you got all riled up, when I tried asking you if you wanted anybody here, so I haven’t contacted anybody about you yet”. I feel like my body is reacting a little scared and then I start remembering small things, like faces of my dad and my two brothers.. Their faces were angry and yelling at me to just f*****g listen. I can feel my body starts shaking. Lilly looks sad and gives me a warm hug. She makes me calm down. Lilly is a middle aged woman. She look like she worries a lot. I can't quite to a finger on why, but I feel safe in her presence. ”My name is Olivia and my dad, I think was angry that I didn’t want to marry his choice of man for me”. I said without thinking, looking up at Lilly and being scared that she knows and is helping my farther. But she just looks sad for me and put her hand on my back. ”Someone told me this, I couldn’t believe a parent would do that to his little girl. And I do know who your father is. You don’t have to worry about that for, I will tell him that I take you in as mine. He will just have to accept that" Lilly says. I don’t know Lilly that well, but for some reason I feel like she means it.”Why would you do that for someone you don’t even know?” I ask, a little afraid that she is going to take it the wrong way. ”I can’t tell all right now, you need your strength to get through this. So let’s just take one thing at the time. But I will tell you that I do care about you and you can feel safe with me, always and any time, alright?” She says and gives me a smile and kiss my forehead. That makes me feel better. Lilly walks out and I feel like taking another nap. This time I wake up to someone driving me on my bed trough the hall. What is happening. Then I feel Lilly’s hand on my back ”Don’t you worry, you’re just being moved to my house. I got people who can care for you and I’ll be able to make sure you’re okay". I don’t feel like she is telling the whole truth here, but she has taking good care of me this far and not even pushed me. I choose to trust her a little longer. As the bed comes to a stop,we are out front of the hospital and Lilly ask me if I cant stand. I nod and get up, she's helping again. I get in the back of the SUV and take my seat belt on. We start driving. We are driving through the town and I realize we driving into an area where the houses are big as mansions and some have even more house around. We pull up in front of a gait. I can’t see a house or anything yet. We get through and drive slowly. Suddenly, I see a house as big as a castle in sight. It looked amazing, like in a fairy tale. I could see it was an old castle, they don’t build them like this anymore. Its grey by the enormous bricks with a black roof and there are statues of animals on the sides. It has beautiful carvings and spears on top, four of them, one in each corner. The garden is filled with flowers, trees and pathways all over. It looks like there’s a fountain with the same kind of animals, but I can't see it clearly enough. Its a beautiful sight. We drive to the back of the castle and the car stops. People are standing outside the car. And a man opens my door reaching his hand out, as to offer me help. I take his hand and can’t help but blush by the feeling it gives me. His touch feels so familiar. I’m embarrassed by the feeling. He pulls me to come out and I instinctively follow. This nice man caught my eyes and I don’t seem to be able to stop staring. He is so gorgeous and handsome. He’s tall, got dark black hair, blue eyes and his body seems fit. I see he’s smiling at me and I look down, feeling awkward as hell. Luckily Lilly comes to my side, smiles at him and says ”Cant you just go inside, she’ll say hi to you later!”. ”But Mom" he doesn’t get to finish before she cuts him of ”Go, I said". He walks away and i feel like i should go after him. But Lilly breaks my stare. ”I know you guys may want to talk, but right now I want you settled inside and safe". I follow her move, walking inside, through the door and into a hall, then up some stairs and into another hall. There’s big paintings with gold frames all the way and some statues,that are shaped as heads of different people. The ceiling is round with carvings. Its so beautiful and I feel myself amazed. As we walk, I can't stop feeling like I know this place. Like I have been here before, but that can't be. I have never seen anything like this before. Why is this feeling coming back again? It seems so strange, but I just try to push the thought out. We come to a big door, she opens it and make a gesture as for me to walk inside. “This is your room and I took the chance to fill up some of your closet, so you have something to wear. I hope you like it. I know we have to make this yours with time, but I hope you like it for the time being” Lilly says. I look around and the room seems like something out of a fairytale too. I look at Lilly “This is amazing and beautiful, I have never had something like this, I already love it all”. She smiles to me and I can see her joy, she is happy I like it. “Please get settled, I just have some things to take care of, but I'll be back soon and then we can go downstairs and get dinner. I know you have a lot of questions and I would love to tell you all I know after dinner, Okay?” she says,while smiling so kind to me. “That is okay,i look forward to dinner and a good conversation after wards”, I answer. And then she turns around and leave. I check out the room, it has big cream colored walls and the ceiling is really high with gold paintings of flowers and leafs. There is paintings on the walls also with gold frames and people. I think it must be their family members through the years. There's a fireplace with gold frame. The furniture are very big and of dark wood. I feel like queen in this room. There’s two doors beside the bed and I go to open, one leads to the bathroom, it has the same cream colored theme, with gold decorations. There is a bathtub and a shower. It got big mirrors both on top of the sink and one on the other side, which goes from the ceiling to the floor. I’m thinking I'm going to spoil myself here. I walk out and go to the next door, its a walk-in closet and its half way filled with clothes and I spot the beautiful dresses and pick one I want to wear to dinner. Then I go to the bathroom and take a shower and get myself ready. As I'm done,Lilly isn’t back, so I jump on the bed. Wow it feels like laying on a cloud, so soft and heavenly. I drift of, thinking how she knew that we wanted to talk? And what did she mean by safe? More confusing. And still I feel like I’m being pulled towards that guy, I guess he’s Lilly’s son. He did look a little like her. He had the same kind eyes and expressions on his face. I just want to know more, more about him. I feel like, I'm being pulled towards him for some reason.
