''Wakie wakie, come on wake up it's time for school. That's definitely the voice of my younger sister. Then my bed suddenly dipped she ripped of my comforter. I still decided to act as if am sleeping so that she can leave me alone but I guess it wouldn't work cos she is still jumping on my bed. "Crystal can you just stop. Am already awake." l grumbled. "Mum said i should wake you and breakfast is ready." She said sassyly and left. Yeah whatever. I stood up and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine before going to school. My name is Avery Rutherford. I am 16 years old. I leave with my parents and little sister in the outskirt of New York City. I go to school at Light house high school which is not very far from my home. I am a very socially awkward person. People see me as a nerd and I like talking to myself so they say am mentally deranged sometimes. I don't really have friends only those that want something from me, you can say that am a little pushover but there is nothing I can do about it. I mean it's not my fault that I tend to see the good in people. Well I have this one friend of mine. He his my bestie and my everything until the day he travelled and I lost contact of him since then I haven't had any real grind but that's by the way.His name is Lucas Kingstone. Well if I am a nerd then he is a geek with glasses and braces. "Avery come on, you're going to be late for school. " I heard my mum's voice. 'I think that I will stop the introduction here bye guys'. I came out of the bathroom but dressed up for school took my backpack and left the room. I sighted my parents in the dinning room with Crystal having breakfast without me with my dad checking his phone and his watch. Typical of him, always too busy to even relax and have a meal without distractions. " Good morning dad, good morning mum. " I greeted them with a peck on the cheeks. ''Why are you late." He asked sternly. Before I could answer, my brat of a sitter answered for me. "She was busy sleeping and snoring like a pig." " Hey no cussing Crystal. " Mum warned. " But I wasn't lying that's the way she sleeps." She said frowning her face like she was the one being called a pig. 'God am so embarrassed right now'. "That's enough. " Dad said and everyone shut up. Speaking about my family, my dad Julius Rutherford is a no nonsense man who owns a small Financing company in New York city. While my mum has a hair dressing salon. We are the typical average family. My sister is in middle school, while am a in junior high school. We don't have much but we are one happy family. "Bye mum, bye dad, bye Crystal." I stood up grabbing my backpack and left for school.
