Duke Valehart never understood why the world seemed afraid of him.

For as long as he could remember, strange things happened whenever his emotions spiraled out of control.

Shadows moved when he was angry.

Ancient symbols appeared in his dreams.

And sometimes…

he heard a voice calling his name from somewhere deep inside his soul.

After a tragic event changes his life forever, Duke unexpectedly finds himself given a second chance in a mysterious new timeline—one filled with Titans, forgotten ruins, hidden powers, and secrets buried beyond history itself.

But this rebirth comes with something impossible.

Inside Duke now lives Kael’tharion, an ancient deity once known as the First Titan King.

A powerful being believed to have vanished thousands of years ago.

At first, Kael’tharion is nothing more than a cold voice inside Duke’s head—mocking him, testing him, and slowly guiding him toward abilities no ordinary human should possess.

Yet as the two begin sharing memories, emotions, and experiences, their connection grows into something neither of them expected.

A friendship.

A bond.

Perhaps even fate itself.

Thrown into the mysterious Black Thorn Academy, Duke enters a world where Titan hunters, powerful bloodlines, and supernatural creatures exist in secret beneath the surface of society.

But while other students dream of becoming heroes…

Duke is trying to understand why Titans react differently around him.

Why ancient creatures kneel when he approaches.

And why certain people look at him as though they already know his future.

Especially Seraphina Veylore.

The calm and beautiful ice-user whose quiet smile hides secrets connected to Duke’s destiny.

Every encounter between them feels strangely familiar, as if their souls have crossed paths before in another life.

But Seraphina is not the only one interested in Duke.

Evelyn Mourningstar—a playful yet dangerously charming vampire-Titan hybrid—finds endless amusement in teasing him, dragging Duke into chaotic adventures that slowly transform his once-lonely life into something far more meaningful.

For the first time, Duke begins forming friendships.

Trusting people.

Laughing.

Dreaming.

And discovering the kind of person he truly wants to become.

But peace never lasts forever.

As mysterious Titans begin appearing across the kingdom and cracks in reality slowly spread across the world, Duke learns that the timelines themselves are becoming unstable.

Fragments of alternate futures begin appearing before him.

Some beautiful.

Some tragic.

And in every single future…

Duke stands at the center of it all.

Now, alongside his friends, allies, and the ancient deity sharing his body, Duke must uncover the truth behind the Titans, the collapsing timelines, and the hidden power sleeping within him before the world falls into chaos.

But the deeper Duke travels into the mysteries of his rebirth, the more he realizes something terrifying:

He was never chosen by accident.

He was chosen because only he can communicate with Titans.

Only he can tame them.

And only he may possess the power to stop a disaster capable of destroying every timeline in existence.

Filled with action, supernatural mystery, emotional twists, romance, friendship, legendary Titans, and breathtaking adventures across alternate realities, Rebirth of the Titan Tamer is the story of one young man’s journey to uncover the truth about his existence while deciding what kind of legend he wishes to become.

Hero.

Monster.

King.

Or something far greater.

Because sometimes…

the soul destined to change the world is the one most afraid of its own power.

REBIRTH OF THE TITAN TAMER: The Boy Who Died Twice
The world ended beneath a blood-red sky. Duke couldn't remember when the screaming had stopped. Perhaps it had never stopped at all. He stumbled through the ruined streets, each breath tearing through his lungs like shards of glass. Ash fell endlessly from the heavens, coating the earth in a blanket of gray. The once-magnificent capital had become a graveyard of broken stone and shattered dreams. Titans roared in the distance. People had once worshipped them. Then feared them. Now... they were simply death. Duke tightened his grip around the broken sword in his hand. The metal was chipped. His fingers bled. His body had long since reached its limit. But he kept moving. Because behind him stood the last survivors of humanity. Children. The elderly. The wounded. People who had placed their final hopes on a boy who wasn't strong enough to save them. "Duke!" A familiar voice broke through the chaos. He turned. Seraphina ran toward him through the smoke. Silver hair stained with dirt. Golden eyes dulled by exhaustion. She had always looked untouchable. Like the moon itself had descended to walk among mortals. But now... she looked heartbreakingly human. "We have to go!" she cried. "They're almost here!" Duke glanced over his shoulder. Beyond the crumbling city walls... shadows moved. Hundreds of them. Titans. His throat tightened. Not fear. Regret. If only he had been stronger. If only he had discovered the truth sooner. If only... "Duke." Seraphina grabbed his hand. The warmth of her touch cut through the numbness consuming him. "We're leaving." He stared at her. Then slowly shook his head. "You know I can't." Tears gathered in her eyes instantly. "No." "Don't do this." A bitter smile formed on his lips. "We both know this is how it ends." "It doesn't have to!" A deafening roar shook the ground. Buildings collapsed. People screamed. The Titans had arrived. Duke closed his eyes briefly. Memories flooded his mind. Nysera's bright laughter. Zephyr's terrible jokes. Liora's quiet intelligence. Evelyn's gentle smile. The family he'd found amidst the ruins of a dying world. He had failed all of them. He opened his eyes again. "I'll buy you time." Seraphina's grip tightened. "No." "Duke—" He leaned forward. Resting his forehead against hers. The world around them burned. Yet in that fleeting moment... everything felt still. "You once told me," he whispered, "that even broken stars can guide people home." Fresh tears rolled down Seraphina's cheeks. "Duke..." "If there is another life..." His voice trembled. "...I'd like to meet you sooner." Then— he pushed her away. "GO!" The earth split apart. Titans surged through the streets. Duke raised his broken sword. Golden light erupted from beneath his skin. The Fragment answered his call. The will of humanity. The final hope of a dying race. Power coursed through him. Terrible. Magnificent. Insufficient. The first Titan charged. Duke moved. Steel met flesh. Blood painted the ground. Then another came. And another. And another. His body screamed. Bones fractured. Muscles tore. Yet he fought. Because someone had to. "Duke!" Seraphina's voice echoed behind him. He didn't turn. If he looked back... he wouldn't have the strength to let go. The Titans closed in. His vision blurred. The golden light around him began to fade. He smiled weakly. So this was it. He had always imagined death would feel grander. Instead... it felt cold. Lonely. He thought of sunsets. Of shared meals around campfires. Of arguments that ended in laughter. Of dreams that would never come true. He had wanted more time. He wanted... to live. The largest Titan stepped forward. Ancient. Monstrous. Its crimson eyes locked onto him. Duke steadied himself. Then smiled. "Come on, then." The Titan attacked. Darkness swallowed everything. "Wake up." Duke frowned. A familiar scent filled the air. Fresh parchment. Polished wood. Rain. "...Wake up." Someone flicked his forehead. Pain exploded behind his eyes. Duke jerked upright. "What the—" Laughter erupted around him. He froze. Desks. Students. Sunlight. A classroom. "What?" Confusion spread rapidly across his face. No. No. No. He had died. He remembered dying. A girl seated beside him crossed her arms. "You were snoring." Golden eyes narrowed in irritation. Silver hair cascaded over her shoulders. Seraphina. Duke stopped breathing. His chair scraped loudly against the floor as he stood. The entire classroom fell silent. Seraphina blinked. "What are you—" Before anyone could react— Duke wrapped his arms around her. The room exploded into chaos. "What?!" "Oh my gods!" "Did he hit his head?" Seraphina froze. Her entire body went rigid. Heat flooded her face. "W-What are you doing?!" Duke didn't answer. Because tears were streaming down his face. Warm. Real. Seraphina was alive. Alive. His shoulders trembled violently. The silver-haired girl hesitated. Then— very awkwardly— placed a hand against his back. "Are..." Her voice softened. "...Are you okay?" Duke pulled away immediately. The entire classroom stared. He looked around frantically. Students chatting. Teachers lecturing. Friends laughing. No Titans. No blood. No death. His gaze drifted toward the classroom calendar. His stomach dropped. Ten years earlier. The day before the Titan Compatibility Ceremony. Impossible. "Duke?" Seraphina studied him carefully. Concern replaced embarrassment. "You look pale." He stared at her. At the person he'd watched disappear beneath a collapsing world. "I'm..." His voice cracked. "...fine." He wasn't. His heart raced violently. Sweat covered his palms. This wasn't possible. He had died. Hadn't he? The classroom door opened. Professor Aldric entered. "Everyone settle down." The elderly instructor glanced toward Duke. His eyebrows rose. "Mr. Ravenscroft." Duke stiffened. "Care to explain why you assaulted Lady Seraphina in the middle of class?" Laughter spread throughout the room. Seraphina's cheeks turned bright red. "He didn't assault me!" The professor sighed. "Then perhaps you could explain." Duke swallowed hard. "...I thought she was someone else." The classroom erupted again. Professor Aldric pinched the bridge of his nose. "Sit down." Duke obeyed. Slowly. His hands trembled beneath the desk. A dream. This had to be a dream. Except— dreams didn't smell like rain. Dreams didn't carry the warmth lingering where Seraphina had touched his shoulder. Dreams didn't hurt. He glanced sideways. Seraphina remained focused on the lesson. But every few moments... she looked his way. Concern lingering in her expression. As if trying to understand the pain hidden behind his eyes. Duke looked away quickly. He couldn't explain it. How could he? How could he tell her that he'd watched the world die? That he'd failed everyone? That she'd been the last person he'd seen before darkness claimed him? His fingers curled tightly beneath the desk. He was terrified. Because if this wasn't a dream... Then he had been given another chance. A second life. A chance to change everything. The Fragment. The Titans. The fall of humanity. He could stop it. Couldn't he? A voice echoed softly within his mind. Ancient. Resonant. Unfamiliar. **"At last..."** Duke froze. **"The boy who died twice..."** Cold spread through his veins. No one else reacted. No one else heard it. **"Will you choose differently this time?"** Golden light flickered briefly beneath Duke's skin. Gone before anyone noticed. His pulse thundered. The Fragment. Impossible. It shouldn't awaken this early. Professor Aldric continued teaching. Unaware that history itself had begun to shift. Seraphina glanced toward Duke again. The boy she'd known for years sat rigidly in his chair. Fear. Grief. Determination. Emotions she'd never seen from him before. Their eyes met briefly. Then— for reasons she couldn't understand— her chest tightened. As though the boy before her had already been lost once. And had somehow found his way back. The rain continued outside. Gentle. Peaceful. A world untouched by Titans. For now. Duke stared out the window. His reflection stared back. Young. Alive. Given another chance. He clenched his fists. No matter what it took... He wouldn't let history repeat itself. Not again. Not while he still had breath in his lungs. This time... he would save them. Even if it destroyed him. Because Duke Ravenscroft had already died once. And he refused to watch the people he loved die a second time. Far beyond the academy grounds... something ancient opened its eyes. A smile spread across unseen lips. The game had begun anew. And fate itself had just gained an unexpected challenger.
