I looked up and saw the wall clock. It’ s past 8am already. Napasarap pala tulog namin. We ere bought exhausted from last night, aside that we were also drained from work all day yesterday. I get up and went to the kitchen.

Papakialaman ko na lang ano'ng mayroon dito. I saw the chicken teriyaki from last night at hindi ako sure if luto ba o pwede siyang kainin na. I don't know how to recook that menu. Iba na lang lutuin ko, I look for  some eggs and corned beef. I did checked for ham or bacon. Parang wala, eggs and corned beef lang.

I cooked scrambled egg and corned beef.  She doesn’t have brewed coffee here. Maybe she’s not a coffee lover at all. I settled for an instant coffee i saw on the basket. The words 3 in 1 creamy latte something.  Oh! I think this is good. Pwede na siguro to for me. I saw sachets of Milo and bear brand powdered milk as it says in the label. Ahh! maybe she loves milo and milk combined. Weird. I’ll try to make some for her.

Breakfast is ready.

I called Mang Ben to ask for a set of my suit  to be ready at the office. I was sipping my instant coffee while sitting on a stool high chair, feeling at home.

Oh this taste sweet. Lots of sugar. I was looking and reading the packaging without even noticing someone is awake already and is staring  at me.

“ Ahemmm… Morning!”, She greeted me with that bedroom voice.

Fuck! Easy friend. Tama na ang kagabi. Baka di tayo makapasok nito.

“ Oh, your up? Come here. I cooked breakfast. “ I said and extend my arm amd  invited her to come to me and i hugged her. She hugged me back  and kissed me on the lips.

" Pinakialaman ko na ang kitchen mo. Ito lang nakita ko na madaling lutuin, you try them. I hope it suits your taste. Oh, this instant coffee taste good but too sweet for my liking. Based on what I have observed. You not a coffee lover. No coffee maker. So a hot choco will do right?", I said looking at her waiting for her reaction.

She let out a small groan and rolled up her eyes. “ Di ako yayamanin. Walang pambili ng coffee maker.”

“ I’ll buy you one.” I said

“ No thanks. I’m not a coffee lover specially in the morning. It’s my favorite.” She said pointing at the hot choco I made. Thank God! I made it right. I am looking at her every move. The way she slowly drank the hot choco. Then she started eating the food I prepared. Nakisabay na rin akong kumain. So this is how her morning looks like. So simple and new to me. But this is fun.  What made me so amazed of her was that she didn’t even bother to wash her face and do some morning stuff like every woman is crazily worried about before facing a man eaely in the morning.
