At some point, Arcane had convinced Kael and Arthur to come out and join them in drinking the alcoholic beverages that Kael had seen inside the box earlier that day.
Kael, who had been playing on Arthur’s phone when Arcane knocked on the closed wooden door, jolted up from surprise. And Arthur, who had been idly staring at the wall, was disturbed. The familiar knots in between his eyebrows announced itself back with a grunt.
Arcane had told them that they couldn’t possibly finish the junk food and alcohol that he packed for the day, since there were only the three of them eating and drinking outside when the food was meant to be eaten by five.
