What business would he do in these parts of the province? It couldn’t be him. The anxiousness still gnawed at him slowly even after he repeatedly reassured himself in his mind. But what if it really was Karlos? Had he heard them flirt? Had he seen them walk out Arthur’s vehicle, dishevelled from the deeds that they just committed? He was restless as Arthur was cooking dinner beside him. “It couldn’t be him,” he reassured himself. “Yeah, why would he be here, right?” “Don’t fret about it. It’s probably someone else.
