I waited outside the room while he got treated, pacing over at the front door. I knew I had to give them time but I was worried, and I didn’t want anyone to go wrong with the treatment.
I got tired of waiting outside the door and went into the kitchen for some water.
I got a glass, drank from it, and then refilled it.

He closed the door behind him.
“How is he?”
“He’s out of danger now.”
