“You’re not going to chase me out, and you don’t expect that I’m going to work out just like that.” He said and held tight to the wheels, his knuckles turned white, and then he started the call all over again.
“Where are you taking me?”
“I will take you home.”
“How did you know where I live?”
He didn’t respond to that. He kept driving, with his gaze focused on the road.
“I never told you where I live, did you…?”
He glanced at me. “You know who I am, Raven. Kaid Vanghuh, and I will do anything to keep you close, because we are under a contract which I did believe until this issue arose, and you don’t expect me to sweep everything under the f*****g carpet.”
