“Is that what you had to say to her?” Jamal asked, he was the one pacing and not me. I sat down on the couch flipping the magazine that had Raven featured on it, what did he expect me to say?
“We were not supposed to get too involved with her, Alpha, and you know that, if she finds out about everything, it’s all going to be a waste, and all our hard work will be for nothing.” He stopped pacing and walked around to take a seat in front of me.
“Why don’t you think about it the other way?”
“Which way, why don’t you tell me?”
“The closer we are, the better it is, and we can use everything to our own advantage, for us to be able to get access…” I closed the magazine. “We've got to get in.”
