Chap 7

Mias POV

The dr came back in and discharged me. I fallow behind Lucas to a medium size house among other houses. I wonder how this will work with my dad and with school. The school year is almost over so not much longer. I stop on the front porch.

“Lucas. What are we going to do about my dad and me finishing high school? I’m not 18 yet.”

“Don’t worry. I had a lawyer draw up Emancipation papers and he will sign and drop them off tomorrow. Your dad won’t be able to legally have any claim on you and he will never harm you again. As for school you will continue as normal.”

Wow he really thought of everything. We walk inside. The house is so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is amazing. All the floors are wood with a array of rugs. Double ovens, island with burners on it. Huge fridge without padlocks! The living room has a huge black sectional couch. A matching dark wood coffee table is in front with a super soft dark red rub under it. The tv is at least 70inches.

“Would you like to see our bedroom.” He says motioning to the stairs. I nod and fallow behind it. The bedroom is gray and black colors. The rug under the bed is so soft I could sleep on it.

“How about you take a nice hot bath. It will help your body relax.” He says with a sweet smile.

“Ok...wait I don’t have any clothes.” I say shyly.

He walks into the closet and grabs a pair of purple pajama pants and one of his t-shirts. Along with a dark blue b*a and matching panties. He must have noticed my shock.

“My mom went shopping for you while you were sleeping”

“Thanks”

The bathroom is bigger then my old bedroom. The tub is huge. We could fit 3 people in here. And the shower! I start the water and find bath salts. I throw jasmine and coconut bath salts in. How did he know they were my favorite. Even my shampoo and conditioner brand is here. While the tub filled I looked around and found a closet with soft black fluffy towels. There was a new purple tooth brush on the counter. I quickly brushed my teeth. They felt gross.

After about a 30 mins soak in the tub I get out and rub the coconut lotion all over myself. I haven’t had a bath like that I’m...well never. I walk out to find him not in the room but the tv pulled up to Netflix. As I sit on the bed he walks in with a amazing smelling pizza.

“Hope you like pizza.”

“Are you kidding who doesn’t like pizza. It’s even my favorite Pepperoni!” I pull a slice up and almost moan as I take a bit.

“Sorry it’s been a while since Iv had pizza or real food that isn’t fruit or something my father forgot to lock up”

Lucas eyes go dark. From what Iv read it means his wolf is at the surface.

“He locked up and didn’t give you food” he growled out at me

I look down and my lap nervously.

“Yeah he said I didn’t deserve to eat. But hey I’m alright. I’m safe now.” I say bringing his face to look at mine. He pulls me onto his lap and shove his head in the crook of my neck and inhales my scent. Soon his turn back to there beautiful shade of gold. Soon I fall asleep laying on him. So this is what happiness feels like.
