Mia’s POV This was all just a sick joke. I can feel tears escaping from my eyes. I here foot steps coming up behind me. I just keep walking. Suddenly I get flipped around. “It wasn’t a joke. I like you Mia and I wanted to get to know you. I do have a job opening at my office but the main reason was to get to know you” I’m sure I look like an i***t just starring at him. “Y-you l-like me?” “Is that so hard to believe.” He is coming close. He runs his hand down my check and he stops and looks at my forehead. “What happened!” He growled Wait growled. “I fell, it’s nothing. I have to go” I run away. I can’t believe I just ran away. I’m such a freak. I walk into my house and suddenly a beer bottle comes to my head. I fall to my floor. “Where have you been b***h! Why are you dressed up! What is the rule about boyfriends and friends” “T-T-That I can’t have a-a-any” I stutter out “That’s right! (kick), absolutely (punch) no (kick) friends(kick) or (punch) boyfriends. Now get up and get your uncle face out of here.” My face is on hot and breathing feels like I’m breathing in fire. I crawl upstairs to my room and lay on my bed which is a mattress on the floor. No one will ever love a broken girl like me. I cry myself to sleep. Lucy’s POV God I mess up. I called my mom for advice. -mom I mess up! -what do you mean Lucas? -I may have asked her to many boy friend and why not questions. She called me out for being a fake interview. -I explained I have a job opening but I wanted to get to know her. Then I saw a big gash on her forehead and my wolf popped out. She ran. (I lay my head on my steering wheel) -oh honey I’m sorry. Try again. Apologize tomorrow. Show her you are interested. -thanks mom. I just feel so out of my element. -no problem hun. You will win her over I know it. Man my mom always knows what to say. Maybe we should stop by and make sure she’s ok. Maybe we will just peek in her window. I pull up to her house. There is a older truck in the driveway. I guess her dad is home. I peek in the front window and I see her dad drinking what looks like scotch or whiskey. He has several empty beer bottles and whiskey bottles around him. I climb up the tree and peek into her bedroom. It’s dark but I see her laying on a mattress on the floor. She had the blankets pulled up to her head. Well she’s asleep. We will come apologize tomorrow. Maybe we will bring her doughnuts. And bacon! Everyone loves bacon. Yeah buddy. I head home and make a plan on how I’m going to win her over.
