“I really think this is a bad idea. You know Jennifer is just going to go straight to Quinn and tell her that we were there questioning her.” Paul had been trying to talk me out of this for the past week but I refused to budge.
“Look, Marc has yet to find anything concrete. I’m just going to play the supportive son-in-law. I’ll let her know that the only reason I’m doing this is because Quinn was curious about her background. Now with everything that’s come out all I am trying to do is protect her. It’s the truth so it’s not like I’m lying to the woman.”
“If you say so. I still think you should have told Quinn some of this first. If she finds out from anyone other than you it’s not going to look too good.”
