October 17th, 2020 1:17pm Tristan Having left the school, his heart racing because not only did Christianna not know where Adrian was but she felt the need to try and flirt with him while his Beta's son was MIA, Tristan cursed to himself. Where the hell had the kid gone? He couldn't wait to get his hands on him. Not only had he been forced to deal with that crazy woman, but he made himself look like an ass trying to get away from her. Maybe Persephonie would know where he was, or have an idea of where to find him. She had a free period at the end of the day, normally walking home so she could get a moment's peace before the other kids all got home from school. He was about to text her when he remembered he'd seen her cell on the kitchen counter this morning. You'd think as a teenager she'd be far more attached to that thing. He had driven around for hours, checking the usual haunts for the omegas that liked to hang around town. Still no Adrian. The boy wasn't even answering his phone. Deciding to make his way home, figuring if Adrian made his way home his parents would give him a call. He shot Chris a text, letting him know what was up and to keep him updated. That boy was in for one hell of a week. Tristan pinch the bridge of his nose, giving his head a shake before turning the radio down. It was then he heard the panicked yelling, someone was yelling for him. Looking around he spotted a pale Adrian, a young woman in his arms. Persephonie! - Adrian She still hadn't woken up. Adrian had finally made it to the edge of the woods, he couldn't seem to find his phone to call Alpha Tristan to let him know what was going on. He feared if he loosened his grip to better search his coat pockets Persephonie may slip from his arms; she was not a small female. Beginning to walk toward the Pack House he heard the loud rumble of someone driving up behind him. Thank the Goddess! He really didn't want to carry Seph all the way home. Turning toward the vehicle his excitement grew, as did the dread of having to share what they had just discovered. "Alpha!! Alpha! Tristan, stop! Please!" He could tell the instant his Alpha realized who he was, the lifted Dodge Ram slammed to a stop/ Alpha Tristan leapt from the Driver's seat, panic and fear evident on his face. His deep baritone nearly a growl as he said his daughter's name before taking her from Adrian, his large hand holding her head to his chest as he cradled her. It took a large man to make Seph look small, and Alpha Tristan did it with ease.  "Adrian, what happened? Is she okay? She's so pale." The fear and anger in Tristan's voice made Adrian stutter as he began, "W-We were t-trying to find Christian. Seph wanted to wish him happy birthday and had caught his sent on the way home. I was on the way home myself when I saw her enter the old path and decided to follow. W-Well," He swallowed hard, the gravity of what they had witnessed finally pulling on him now that Persephonie was with her father.  "Spit it out, son!", Tristan coaxed, he could tell the Alpha was trying to keep his cool. Emotion evident in his stare more so than his tone. "Tristan, it was so terrible. We didn't find Christian, but Justin.", Adrian gagged. Seeing the crumpled body on the ground again, the memory almost making his vomit. "There was so much blood. Seph saw it first, she fainted. I haven't been able to wake her up." It was then you could see the emotion slip from Tristan's face, the serious Alpha taking over his expressions. "Get in the truck, Adrian. I'll need you to call your father on the way to the Pack House. We will come back to investigate, but first we need to get you and Persephonie home and safe." - Persephonie "Justin!", she screamed. Her body coming awake with such violence that she shot up, and fell. Her body tumbling off the pack's sitting room couch and onto the hardwood floor with a thud. "Damn, Sephi. You okay?", she heard Adrian ask, the floorboards creaking under his weight as he made his way to her. Persephonie felt Adrian's hand under her arm before he pulled her up, setting her awkwardly back on the couch. Everything was spinning. Settling her feet flat on the floor Persephonie bent to put her head between her knees, nausea rolling in her stomach. She was only vaguely aware of Adrian, knowing he had sat himself next to her on the couch but not hearing whatever it was he was telling her. "I'm sorry, Adrian. I didn't hear any of that. Give me just a moment, I need to gather my thoughts and make sure I'm not going to throw up." Silence. There was silence, and with the deep breath she took to try and calm herself she inhaled Adrian's scent. He smelled so warm, the faint scent of his cologne pairing beautifully with the earthy aromas of sandalwood and cardamom that were entirely of Adrian. How had she never realized how good he smelled? The scent calmed her as she continued to breathe him in. The Luna wolf within her easing the pull to come to the surface, wanting to protect her from whatever had upset her in such a way. Her Luna, the she-wolf of highest breeding that lay within in her, one with the core of her very being since her 11th birthday had been on edge since the smell of blood had filled her senses within the woods. Adrian's softly spoken question caused her to jump in surprise, "Persephonie? Do you need me to get you anything?" Persephonie sat up slowly, turning her head to look into Adrian's very concerned gaze. "I'm okay, Di. Maybe some water? My throat feels a little rough." Adrian had moved quickly toward the kitchen before she'd finished, the sound of the refrigerator closing heard not long before he came back through the archway. "We only have the small bottles, I'll have to let the guys know that we need to make a*****e run.", he finished just as he came to stand in front of her, reaching his arm out to hand her the tiny plastic bottle.  It was then that the front door could be heard opening, a raucous of booming males voices coming through the entry way and flooding the sitting area. Her father stepped to the front of the men, Persephonie's head felt like it was going to explode. "Where's Christian?"
