Alpha Theodore

Alpha Theodore I was in my office, attending to some pack duties and barking out commands to my subordinates. It had been more than an hour now since I instructed my guards to chain the asthmatic wolf. That would teach her never to attack her Luna. Thinking about it now, she deserves food, she shouldn’t starve, not when I still have a lot of agony to inflict on her. What should be her next punishment? Where did she get the courage from to attack Aletta? Thor questioned and I laughed softly. Not only was she weak and powerless, she was also stupid and dumb. How dare an omega, an asthmatic one, the tiniest wolf ever that looks like a little kitten attack a lineage of the Beta family? Wasn’t she afraid of being killed? I know Aletta and she wouldn’t spare her a minute before ripping her bones to pieces. All the more reason why Aletta is fit to be Luna. She’s brilliant, powerful, strong and of course a great lover. I can travel long distances and leave Aletta in charge without being afraid of my pack getting attacked but that thing? It’s more like delivering my pack into the hands of rogues. My pack is my everything, all I do is for the well-being of my pack. Ever since I started ruling the pack, 6 years ago I’ve never made the wrong decision and no matter what, I'll keep making the right decision with my wolf. Thor and I are one, we never have different thoughts. He is desperate for his mate but we both won’t accept that tiny wolf. We would rather wait for our real mate or take a chosen mate. I looked at the file in my hand, it was some rubbish agreement about sharing our resources with the humans in return for weapons. I for one prefer fighting rogues with my hands and claws, using weapons is a sign of weakness and with the rate at which humans were making secret deals with packs we would be enslaved to them. Mason walked inside. “Alpha,” He muttered as he stood at one side. “Have a seat,” I replied without looking up. “Do you think it’s right to make a deal with humans?” “I think it’ll be a great idea if we have access to technology, more like big weapons that can guarantee our safety” “But what if the humans decide to go against us? How would we fight with them when we don’t even know much about technology?” I countered. “Most packs have been accepting help from humans to defeat the rogues, I don’t think it’s a bad idea” He replied with a shrug. “I’ll think about it though I don’t think it’s a good idea to allow humans to secretly dominate us. Who knows what they’re plotting against us,” I replied and kept the file aside. “How’s the patrol at the borders going? Any attacks recently?” “None reported. I think the rogues have toned it down after the last attack, I’ve heard about the other packs they’ve attacked though” He replied. “There’s no problem in the pack right? Everything has been under wraps, I guess?” “Yes. Things have been quiet. Can we discuss your captive? She has been chained to the wall for hours now and I think that is enough punishment” “Are you telling me how to rule my pack? She committed a grave offense which she should be very sorry for. It’s one thing to look into the eyes of an alpha and not get punished but it’s an entirely different thing to attack the future Luna. That wolf is insane!” I retorted and Mason sighed deeply. I don’t know why he finds it hard to see things from my perspective. Can’t he see the wolf for who she really is? A conniving, annoying, weak and desperate wolf who wants a position that’s not meant for her. “Okay let’s accept she’s insane but can’t we put her in some asylum instead of worsening her position. All this torture is just an act of wickedness” He replied calmly and I scowled at him. How dare he tell me I’m being wicked. “No, I’m not just keeping her. I’m also waiting for my mate. I want her to be there when I find my mate and experience the mate bond so she can realize her mistake” I replied and Mason sighed deeply. I don’t know why I should keep her locked and why I should free her, I mean she’s claiming that I’m her mate and I have to keep her by my side so I show her what a true Luna is supposed to be. “How about you let her go after getting a chosen mate? She can die in that cage” Mason emphasized and I nodded even when I knew in my heart that there was no way I would be letting her go. She must be punished for calling me her mate, the guts and effrontery to look into my eyes and the nerve to attack my Luna. “Excuse me, I have a prisoner to attack to” I rose to my feet, Thor leaping and wagging his tail at the thought of going to torture her. Mason stood up, trying to follow me but one snarl at him and he retreated immediately, he was almost showing me his neck. I walked to the cage, one look at the guards and they retreated into the dark. I want to have one-on-one time with this wolf. She noticed my presence and raised her head to look at me, I looked into her blue eyes and saw pain etched in them. They were very dull and empty. Her naked body was filled with few bruises, I stared at her body slowly, gulping in nervously as my heart twitched when I saw her petite body. I felt a tingly sensation drive down my spine, I averted my gaze immediately, breathing out. “Finn!” I called the cage guard and he appeared in front of me hastily. “Yes Alpha” Finn responded, standing behind me. “Bring her down, get the maids to clean her up and give her good dresses. I want her ready within a day. I do not want to see all these bruises” I commanded and Finn nodded with shock written all over his face. It seems like she would be useful for my bed since there’s no amount of punishment that can match up to her claiming me as her mate. Thor began to leap and grunt with pleasure, wild instincts were coming to my head and I had to leave. I have other duties to attend to but I still had a last look of her body.
