Mark changed his clothes and prepared his bed to sleep after a long tiring day.  He decided to watch a movie with Dora before sleeping. Mark took some snacks and sat on his couch searching for some good movies to match while Dora sat on his lap. Scrolling through the cannels , Mark found  a movie which had neither audio nor video. He considered it to be some problem with the signal and ignored it . Mark said to Dora , " Even the television does not let me be happy " and laughed at his misery. Mark tried to continue his search for the another channels but the screen did not change. It remained pitch black screen with no sound. He thought of contacting the cable guy but he did not wanted to waste time . Mark decided to check the problem on his own . He went near the television to check the main connections. He found no problem in the connections . So he switched it off and switched it back on , yet there was no changes other than a faint light in the centre of the black screen . Looking at the faint light , Dora started barking and came running from the couch to Mark. Mark took her up and noticed the light and touched it. When Mark touched the light, there was only darkness around him. Mark could not see or hear anything except Dora barking. He felt as if he is falling from a great height into a deep pit . There was just darkness for hours. Everything went silent. Even Dora's barks were not audible now. Mark was surprised as well as frightened. He was so much in fear that he could not even scream.  Suddenly there was a great thud . Mark tried opening his eyes and found himself laying on a grassy ground. He panicked as he could not see Dora anywhere. He searched for her everywhere but found no clues. Mark was very upset thinking that he  had lost Dora. He sat under a tree crying when he heard a sound. He investigated the source of sound and realized the sound came from the bushes. So he went near the bushes to check the sound and found that Dora was playing with another puppy. Mark was grateful to find Dora safe. The puppy was afraid to look at Mark and ran away though he was friendly with the puppy . Mark felt bad for the puppy and took Dora in his arms . He kissed her on forehead and hugged her tight . Mark looked at Dora and said , "Don't ever go away from me. You are my lifeline . I love you more than my own life ." And this was obvious because Mark could not even imagine his life without Dora. Showing all his affection to Dora, Mark started walking away from the bushes in search of some hotels or houses to stay in . Mark could not understand anything that happened. He somehow tried to relate things but it did no advantage to him. He kept walking along the streets with Dora , both being clueless about the things around them .
