Betrayed Love

Chapter five

Enzo pov.

I spent the rest of the day trying to decipher what it was about this woman that drives me insane.

I never met a woman like her and I don't even know her yet. 

Today she made me respect her with her fierceness , even terrified she stood her ground like a queen.

She amused me with her smarta*s mouth and when she refused me...again...it just made me want her even more.

 I've been with a long list of women far more beautiful and definitely more experienced than her and none of them could pull this off and make me fell like this.

How couldn't I be curious?

I looked at her file on my desk and anger started to run in may veins thinking about how this girl had to fight so hard, alone with life.

Everyone turned their back on her.

 How unlucky she has been and yet, she still has this glowing soul and that innocent look that  made me turn upside down. Why do I care? Hell if I know. 

This isn't me and I hate her for making me feel all this, she makes me angry to the point that I can't think about anything else apart from her.

 I'm cold and brutal, ruthless. 

Compassions and empathy where things I lost over the years. not even sure if I had them to being with.

 I was so unattached to emotions that sometimes  I couldn't even understand them, and I couldn't allow it. A man in my position can't have distractions.

 Everyone I bring into my life will become one thing...TARGET.

I couldn't let myself to care because I've learnt that lesson when that was what took my parents away, because they allowed themselves to love, to build a family, to love me...and they died because of it and I would put a bullet in my head before I let it happen to me.

I wasn't exactly a kid when they died but I still needed them and their death was the last thing I allowed myself to feel.

 Now the only thing that matters to me is my revenge on those who caused their death and my pain.

 Sarah is not important! She is a distraction I can't afford to have!

Pouring some whiskey in my glass, I try to clear my mind because every time I close my eyes the only thing I see is her beautiful face. I need to get laid to erase her from my mind.

 A knock  at my door grabs my attention.

" Everything ok, boss?" Andy asked me 

" Si , nothing I can't handle..." I replied promptly and I shifted my gaze to my glass of whiskey as if it were the most interesting thing.

"Is there something I should know? Anything new about the girl?" Andy  nonchalantly placed a hand inside his pocket and mockingly gazed at me, he knew me to well.

"Nothing, I met this girl and I wanted to know more about her, nothing that I haven't done before " I told him trying my best to keep my tone calm and reassuring but he threw a suspicious look toward me.

 " All ready for tonight?" I asked him trying to change the subject.

" The container will arrive around eleven o'clock and I already organised the teams to handle the  situation "

"Ok Andy good job! we also have to review the situation with the red scorpions, we are not even close to finding them and I'm tired of their little games, do you have any news?" I tried my best to remain calm and composed because a already lost to much time with my stupid thoughts and my revenge must come always first.

After few hours of discussions and strategies with my team about the upcoming transport I felt exhausted and I headed for my room and inside Natalie was already waiting for me.

"Hey handsome, missed me?" she asked me with her high-pitched voice running her fingers up my shoulders smiling seductively at me.

"What are you doing here, Natalie?" I say trying to pry her off of me.

"Clara let me in, I came to see if I could do something for you." Usually her presence bothers me, but tonight I need something to take my attention from Sarah.

"Since you already are here, why not?" I lathered little kisses all over her neck and breasts and in few minutes, she was a panting mess under me. 

Flipping her over, I entered her in one swift movement and she let out a moan but the one I really wanted was Sarah and her fiery eyes still wouldn't leave my thoughts.
