CATHERINE’S POV The air out here feels colder than it should, but I stay anyway. I have my knees pulled up to my chest and my chin resting on them. The night is beautiful. There’s a full moon with stars filled in the sky and I can’t seem to tear my eyes away. Every time I blink, I see him—Tyler—standing there in my memory, alive and warm and smiling at me like I was his whole world. The stars remind me of him even more. I think of all the times we would lie down stargazing. Now all I have is this ache. This burning in my chest that no night breeze can cool. My fingers curl around the bracelet—the one he gave me.
