Ann had a smug smile in her face. I frowned, wondering what the hell she was doing here. But before I could confront her, I heard a familiar voice.

I turned around to see him rushing toward me. Tyler had arranged for someone to bring Logan today, but I hadn’t expected to see him so soon. I was relieved to see him. I had missed him so much.

Quickly, I pulled him close, putting him behind me as my eyes locked on Ann. There was something off—something wrong with the way Tyler’s pack members stood behind her, like obedient soldiers waiting for orders. I knew something was off.
“What did you do to them?” I demanded.
Ann’s smile widened “What could I have possibly done?”
She glanced over her shoulder at the pack before turning back to
