They were truly here. I never expected them to show up at the right moment, but they did, and I was glad that I had not judged the princes and underestimated what they could do.
"Now that we're here, what can we do?" Brian asked, standing protectively in front of me.
I rubbed my chest and smiled at Ace, who helped me up from the ground. "Thank you," I said to him. As I stood up, I took a deep sigh and surveyed my surroundings. The women and children, unable to fight, had followed their Alpha's orders and moved away from the front line. The men capable of fighting, numbering in the hundreds, remained in the front line. While they didn't all appear to be highly skilled, I hoped that with the triplets backing us up, we could win the fight.
