Chapter I
Sometimes we have to go back to move forward.
A young lady was tapping her nails furiously on the desk. Another man was watching and pacing the floors of he small room. It has been over an hour they were waiting for the police officers to come out.
Finally the door opened.
The lady was a journalist. She was not really interested in this case but since she was put on the job she had no choice than to come out. The young man was a lawyer.
A officer walked out of the room. He was holding a piece of paper. The lady got up from and took the paper from his hand. It was their permit to see the prisoner.
"Where is she?", she asked.
"Follow me." , he replied curtly.
The prison stank of vomit and urine.. The lady twitched her nose. It was unladylike to pick her nose so she scrunched up her face instead. The lawyer on the other hand was very quiet and just listened and followed them.
Finally, the officer stopped at a door.
"You can go in,but I will be checking up on you every 30 minutes. If you need anything just press the buzzer.
They chose not to reply to him and pushed the door open.
Then they saw her.
She still looked beautiful but leaner, she looked sick. The strange thing was she was smiling. The lady just shook her head. Who understood the craziness of a psychopath. There was three chairs in the room ,one already occupied by her.
"Take a sit,I don't bite.", she said.
The lady cleaned the chair thoroughly, while the lawyer chose to stand.
She cracked a smile at him.
"Hi. Thanks for coming to see me. I'm Myra."
"I am Teresa. It's a pleasure.", Teresa said.
The lawyer was still silent.Teresa decided not to waste time, she wanted to be out of this prison as soon as possible.
"So,Myra,I am from the Eco News Station. We want you to tell us your story.",she said.
Myra laughed." My story is simple. I killed people and if I was given the chance I would do it again. Before we talk about that let me tell you a little story."
