XI. In the early hours of the morning November 9th 1923, A dusty attic in Uffing outside of Munich Germany, is where Alice, concealed in her cloak, spies on an injured young Adolf Hitler. He has a dislocated elbow and with his good hand he is aiming his Luger pistol at himself. He has just made his first play for power and it has failed, his government is looking for him to question and his friend Ernst Hansfstaengl- Alice, remembering what a horrible tyrant he is to become and contemplates how easy it would be to end him here before he comes into power but ultimately she knows that is not how history was meant to unfold.
