IX. The Nomad exits the Infinity Tunnels and is propelled through the Ocean in the early morning hours of December 7th 1941. They arrive below the coast of California where Vaulkner now resides in this time period. They quickly travel through the Pacific Ocean towards Hawaii. Seren sits in the cockpit with the Guardian standing over him giving last minute instructions, “As the Nomad gets out of range of the mainland.” The Guardian says, “The Nomad will be invisible to their radar equipment but our motion in the water will be detected, get us in the air.” Seren manipulates the levers in the cockpit maneuvering the Nomad past a whale and emerges the ship out of the ocean.
