The Guardian summons the ShadowGate for Alice, Ryland and Seren, who is disguised as a motorcycle. “Good Luck” He says flatly as they depart. They speed off and the Guardian watches them drive through the gate and down the tunnel into Berlin. The Guardian begins withdrawing the ShadowGate when Alice, in full armor, comes riding Seren through the backside of the gate. She steers the ‘hover-cycle’ to a sideways stop in the holographic chamber as the Guardian closes the ShadowGate.
In that exact same instant the gate is being closed a small electrical storm converges in the center of the room. Ryland and Bizmark arrive by means of teleportation.
Bizmark has an astonished look on his face having no concept of teleportation or Time Travel.
