Chapter 2 Come Back

542 Words
Five years later... In the economy class of an international flight to America, a few girls were holding their phones, secretly taking photos of two adorable twins. The little boy wore a small checked shirt, with a pair of grey jeans. His large, gem-like eyes sparkled beneath his neat, black bangs. His small, delicate nose was paired with thin, red lips, which were moist and breathtakingly beautiful. Beside him sat a little girl of the same age, exquisite as a doll. Her waist-length black hair was worn down, with thick bangs that covered her snow-white forehead. She wore a shiny gemstone hairpin. Her crystal-bright eyes, just like the little boy's, were full of life. Her cute little face was as beautiful as the most exquisite doll, and her little mouth was slightly pouting as she nibbled on a lollipop. She was so sweet that people couldn't move their eyes away. "Miss, stop taking pictures of us. Or I'll be angry!" Noticing that the girls were secretly taking photos, the little boy immediately tried to stop them with a childish voice. The girls next to him immediately felt embarrassed and turned off the camera with a flushed face. "OMG! They are so cute! Can I be their mommy?" "Can't you see that a woman is sitting beside them? That must be their mommy." Besides the twins, a young lady was napping, leaning against the back of her seat. She had fair skin and an exquisite oval face. Her waist-length hair had been pulled to the side and tied into a ponytail. She wore a loose black T-shirt and white denim shorts, looking pure. "Jeremy, how about we wake Mommy up? She hasn't had lunch yet!" the little girl asked in her childish voice as she looked at the little boy beside her. "Let Mommy sleep a little longer. It's still early." Jeremy replied. He was the elder brother. Although he was still young, he was super intelligent. His beautiful big eyes gave off wisdom incongruous with his age. He always looked calm and collected, unlike the naive and adorable little girl beside him. "Poor mommy, staying up all night working." Carolina looked worried. "Carolina, let's not upset Mommy again, okay?" Jeremy stroked Carolina's little head as he advised her like an adult. "Sure, I'll be a good girl!" Carolina immediately cracked a considerate smile. Half an hour later, the plane landed at the airport. "Mommy, it's time to get off the plane!" Jeremy reached out his little hand and gently pushed at Mariana's arm as he whispered into her ear. "Ah..." Mariana woke up from a deep sleep, reached out to rub her sleepy eyes, and looked down at the two cute little babies. The corners of her beautiful mouth curled up. "Sorry, I was too tired. Have you two eaten something?" Mariana looked apologetically at her twins and asked gently. "We've eaten some bread and drunk a bottle of milk. Mommy, are you hungry? I have some bread and milk for you!" Carolina smiled sweetly. Mariana shook her head with a smile. "I'm not hungry. Let's go!" After unfastening the seatbelts for her twins, Mariana took their hands and walked out of the cabin. After five years, she had finally come back!
