Penelope's POV It's been one year since Lewis and I got married. Our life was happy and very peaceful. My husband works as an engineer in one of the well-known companies here while I work from home as a Virtual Assistant. The house and land we live in now was a gift from lewis' father when we got married. I can't really imagine how lucky we are because we don't have a problem with where we're going to live, although lewis and I plan to rent to own a condo unit first. "Love, what time will you go home" I said. "Maybe I'll be early today because there's not much to do in the office" "Shall I cook now or shall we eat out?" "Maybe we'll be at home now love, next time we'll eat out" "Ok love, be careful on your way home" and I hung up. Did he forget that today is our anniversary? I hope it no coz its our 1st wedding anniversary. "What should I cook today?" I was thinking about what to cook later that is special. It's getting late and I haven't cooked yet because I cleaned the house first. While cleaning, I decided that I would cook my hubby's favorite Pork Steak and Mango float for dessert. I had the ingredients because we went grocery shopping yesterday. After 1 hour and 30 minutes I'm done cooking and I'm going to take a shower first. After I took a shower and got dressed, I prepared the table and made it really romantic with matching candles hahaha I hope he likes it. Love?" "Love Im here" I looked at my watch and it was 7:49 at night. I slightly ran to him and hugged him. "This is for you, Happy first wedding anniversary" he kissed me and handed me flowers and a wrapped gift. "I thought you forgot happy anniversary" and I almost cried because I really thought he forgot. "Come on love, I've prepared your favorite" I pulled her to the table. "Wow, that's my wife" "Of course hahaha" We had a lot of fun even though our celebration was simple but we were happy and I couldn't ask for anything more. So how's your day love?" I asked him while we were eating. "It's ok love, actually I only had a half day today because I was looking for a gift for you" "Ahhh love thank you, I love you" "I love you more" "Ayyiiie, I also have a present later" with a naughty smile "What's that" and he smiled "Secret later" "Are you thinking what I'm thinking" "It's like that" hahahahaha I really don't know what this man thinking. Actually I got him a bracelet as a present. he has a bracelet but it's old he have that since we were boyfriends and girlfriends he didnt replace it nor take it off. The color is a bit faded so I'm going to replace it with a new one I hope he'll likes it. "I'll get my gift from you in the room first" and I ran to the room and took my gift from him. "Here" reached him at once "What is this?" he says "Open it" He opened it with a smile. "I want you to wear it all the time. Throw away your old one" I said as he opened it "Wow love what is this" he said while looking at and touching the bracelet. "Bracelet, I noticed that your bracelet is already old" and I saw that his smile had faded. "Why? You didn't like it?" I ask "No love, I love it!" good I was nervous he'll didnt like it "Come let me put it on you" I said "Wait later love after we eat" "Ok" I said with a smile After we ate we had a movie marathon. We watched RomCom with popcorn on the side and already wear our pajamas. He hugged me. "Are you happy love?" "Ofcourse" and I kissed him. He kissed me back. His kisses is going aggresive , he goes down to my neck. "Hmmmm love our movie" i said between his kisses. "It can wait" he said I touched his pulse and notice he didn't wear yet the bracelet. "Love wear the bracelet now" and he immediately stop kissing me and said "Yeah later love it's in the room" "Do you want I get it for you?" i said "No no no it's okay I will wear it later ok? Dont worry I love it" he kissed my forehead "By the way you didnt open my gift" he said. I forgot ! "I was about to open but I change my mind I will open it tommorow" but the truth is I really forgot his gift ! It's in the living room. "Okay love" And I didn't even realize that I fell asleep, I just woke up in the midnight , the TV is still on haha, he also fell asleep, poor husband. I looked to see if he had put on the bracelet but he hadn't, maybe he just forgot. I turned off the tv , clean the living room and then I wake him up because the coach is so small for him he is a big man. "Love , love wake up" I said "Hmmmm" "Let's go to our room" "Hmmm , sorry I fell asleep" he said with a husky voice. "It's okay I feel asleep also" I laugh He got up and carry me like a bride "Ahhhh , love just put me down" I said "No , my princess" "Princess your face hahahaha put me down" "Were almost their just hang on" "Okay" then he kissed me "Love watched your step" He slowly put me in bed. "Back to sleep now I will go to the bathroom first" he said "Okay I love you good night" "I love you more my Penelope" Even though our celebration was very simple, we still enjoyed it and that's the important thing. After he take a shower he lay beside me and turn off the lamp . I hugged him in the back , I cant go back to sleep agaim so I dicided to open his gift, I go down to get the gift in the living room it's in the couch. "I wonder what he gets me this time" I opened the gift, It's a Prada box. "I think I know it , not again!" Its a handkerchief , I wonder why he always gift me a handkerchief , He knows I loved handkerchief I cant go out without bringging one maybe that's why. "Too expensive for a handkerchief" I returned it in the box and go to our bedroom. I opened the cabinet and place the box and closed it. It's 2:28 and im not sleepy yet so I will just prepare his work clothes for tomorrow in case I can't go up early. Our walk in closet is quite big but most of the things here is all from lewis I just have few , lewis had a bunch of clothes that he did'nt even wear most of it, most of his clothes are for work and he had also his clothes here since he was a kid he kept it his really a good keeper , he had a bunch of watch , sunglasses , cup , socks with different color but he got a few shoes , he got only 5 pairs of foot wear , his slipper , his work shoes , 2 of his shoes for work out and his slippers for the bathroom he really dont like many shoes. I choose his black longsleeve , black pants and a indigo blazer , black socs and a indigo color of neck tie , because whatever color his blazer are thats the color of his neck tie I just notice also when he started to work. I hang it all beside the entrance of our bathroom so that he can notice easily. I also had to work tomorrow because I didnt work today because Im busy preparing although I work from home I just want to pay attention to this anniversary because it is our first celebration as a husband and a wife. When we were still a boyfriend and girlfriend every our anniversary we will always eat at a fine restaurant sometimes we travel go to camping , swimming and hiking that's why Im happy that now our anniversary we celebrated it here in our home its new to us and its not bad its actually romantic it was only the both of you eating together , laughing , watching movie feels like in cinema too , eating popcorn , kissing , hugging that no one else could see but your lizards in the house only , and you are both safe. I hope that we will stay like this until we go old together with our future childrens soon .
