We arrived in front of a tall building with purple, white, and blue lights beaming and dancing on the building walls and loud music filling the air. We stepped out of the car and started to head inside. 'Tonight is gonna be lit,' Landon stated in excitement.
We were about to walk in when a guard stopped us at the door. 'Names?' the guard asked, trying to yell over the commotion of gathering bodies and loud music. Suddenly, Mina, brimming with confidence, thrust forward a sleekly designed card akin to a VIP badge and proudly declared, 'Mina Marchetti!' Acknowledging her VIP status, the guard swiftly stepped aside, granting passage for our party of six.
On our way inside, you could feel the base of the music pulsing through the floor. We finally made our way through the crowd of dancing bodies and sat in front of the bar. 'God, it's packed in here,' Bennon said, looking around nervously as it wasn't really his scene. I ordered a Vesper on the Rocks, which is a fine cocktail mixed with London gin, vodka, and Lillet blanc. Tyler says it's god awful, but I think it's delicious, and Landon agrees.
I took this time to look around while finishing my drink feeling a little excitement to start dancing. Bennon went to a booth nearby, Tyler and Mina hit the dance floor, and Landon and I sat at the bar talking about what our plans were for tonight. He was about to ask why I had invited bennon here when a tall skimpy blonde came up to him obviously drunk and asked him to dance. "I'll be right back," he said while being pulled into the crowd by the blonde. I just nodded and looked around now emptying my glass.
Feeling a sense of solitude now that all my friends had left my side, a man with brown hair and charming dimples greeted me. "Hello there!" he warmly exclaimed. "What's your name?"
"Piper!" I called out, raising my voice slightly above the music.
"Would you like me to get you a drink?" he offered. I enthusiastically nodded, and he kindly ordered a Munbaeju for himself and asked the bartender to bring me the same drink I just finished a little bit ago.
"Thank you," I said sincerely before continuing, "What's your name?"
Surprised by my question, he responded, "My name is Kim Nam-Joon, but you can call me RM." his Korean accent evident in his voice.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, RM, and thank you for the drink," I replied warmly.
He then asked, with a friendly smile, "Would you like to dance?" as he held out his hand.
"I would absolutely love to," I eagerly responded.
I placed my hand in his, and he guided me towards the dance floor. The music was upbeat, and we effortlessly moved along with the rhythm, fully enjoying ourselves. I found myself facing a different direction, jumping and grooving to the music. Unexpectedly, his warm embrace surrounded me, and we began touching and dancing intimately together.

My heart started racing and my mind was starting to get fuzzy from all the drinks I had consumed. I had lost count a while ago as I was too wrapped up in having a good time. Before I knew it, I was being yanked away by my cousin Mina, who was simultaneously scolding me for being irresponsible, but her words were drowned out by the yelling behind me. I didn't know what was going on and became worried. One minute I was dancing with RM, and the next I was being pulled away from what seemed like a fight.
"Mina, w-what's going on?" I stuttered, trying to get a coherent sentence out.
"I'll explain later, but right now we have to leave," Mina explained. I tried to turn to see what was happening, but her grip on my upper arm was firm. Finally, after a little bit of struggle, I managed to catch a glimpse of RM, Landon, Bennon, and a few other people who looked similar to RM fighting a group of guys.
