Layla's point: 'male voices' "We still need to find the beta, they said he was last seen with a women, headed south from here." "don't worry Granger, we still have time, and trust man he ain't gotta a chance with all of us, I mean hell look at the king himself, beaten up, chained to a tree, if their so high and mighty wolves we wouldn't be breathing right now." a faint male voice says.

"Layla wake up, Layla." T voice sounding so far off, "Come on Layla, wake up, we have to get out of this. WAKE UP!" I jumped up, looking around many men were staring back at me, I see the big guy that punch me knocked me out, he's standing by the fire sharping his knife, he looks up at me, quickly looks back down. Searching the area, we are still in the same spot that Owen and I was about to eat, oh my god ,Owen. I'm chained to a tree, but I scoot around trying to find him, then I see a bloody beat up man tied up to a tree, instantly I knew it was Owen, my heart beating so fast, "Owen, Owen, wake up, are you ok?" whispering, crying faintly. Suddenly a pain shoots threw me, "Shut up, mutt can't you see, he's knocked out cold." One of the men say to me, "Who are all of you, and what do you want." I say to him, he gets down eye level with me, sniffs me, I cringed. "Im not answering your questions, just know once we find that pathetic beta, we take the 3 of you back to where you belong, after all" grabbing my chin, pulling me hard into his face, "We need our luna, to complete Barron's pack, you been gone long enough girl, so stop trying to escape, everytime you do escape, Barron will always find you." the man let's go of my chin then smacks me hard in the face. I turn my head to spit out blood, he walks away I look over at Owen who still is not moving. "T please help him, this hurts to see him, please tell me he's alive." I cried to T. "Yes, he's alive, we need to find a way to get Ryan, until you can heal some more I'm to weak to call out to him, try to keep your human part strong for just a few hours at least okay." I nodded my head, Ryan where are you I whisper to myself.

Ryans pov: After disappearing on Owen and Layla, I met up with Mendi right on cue she walks through the open space, I had a table and a candlelight dinner for us, just like Owens and laylas, but I'm sure ours will go more smoothly. Walking over to my beautiful mate, I hold my arm out to her, she takes it with the sweetest smile, electric currents running threw me, I feel her shiver, she feels the same way. I pull out a chair she sits down, we begin our dinner, asking each other more questions, lost in stories and laughter, I tell her all about Layla, how she escape her hell, then how her and Owen are mates, how I was trying to speed the bond up, I left out who she is and me, when I felt Ceaser nudge me into telling her who we are. Clearing my throat, I begin to speak, "Mendi, there's something I need to tell you." "Wait, I want to say something first please." I watch as she to got uneasy, I started to think maybe she will reject me, "Ryan, I'm not a werewolf, I'm actually a witch." My mouth drops open, I stare at her, she starts mumbling, f**k say something Ryan, "Um, okay, that's ok, I'm totally cool with it, your a witch and I'm the first born male of the white blood legend." I say fast to her trying to sound calm. Then her mouth drops open, she stares right into me, I gulp a few times, when suddenly, she stands up and walks over to me, she stares at me hard, I'm literally shaking, she leans into my ear, "Guess I got me a lucky one", she whispers so softly, Ceaser jumps for joy, and I grab and pull her onto my lap, we start kissing and touching each other in all the places, when suddenly in mid air, a fire flame Is right next to us, I stare wide eye, as Mendi sits there breathing hard, but is calm, she grabs the flame, and then a white piece of paper is in her hand, she opens it and reads it, she goes white, she quickly mumbles something and a few seconds later, a flame went up in the air and vanishes, "My love what is it" I ask concern. She just stares off in space. "Mendi babe, talk to me what's wrong." She tears up, "Your sister and alpha are in trouble, there's many men that has captured them, your alpha is beaten and your sister is hurt as well, word is Barron men, there looking for you, he wants the 3 of you." She throws her face in my shoulder crying hard. Ceaser ready to come out and fight, "Mendi, listen I have to go save them, I can't lose my sister and my best friend, listen if I don't make it back to you, I want you to." "Shut up Ryan, I'm helping" She cuts me off."Um, no mam this is our fight, his men are trained killers Mendi I just found you, I'm not gonna lose you, go home I'll come back for you." I sigh as I let her get off of me, "Ryan, I have fought many people, you gonna need me, I can use my magic to help get them free, please let me help they are my family now, I need to prove my loyalty not only to you, but to your alpha, it's already gonna be a challenge when your pack find out I'm a witch, it's very uncommon for werewolves and witches to be mates." staring at her, I knew I wouldn't win this, "Fine, but stay out of harm's way, I can't focus if I know your in danger." I kiss her head softly. "Let's go kill some dogs." I say out loud, turning into Ceaser, Mindi gasp I look back at her, tried to smile but I guess it wasn't working cause she was cringing, I stop smiling and leaned down for Mindi to jump on my back, I feel her rub her fingers threw my fur, taking in all of Ceaser, both of us breathing heavily, "MINE" Ceaser growls, I nudge her to get on and she does, "I'll tell you when to stop, there's scouts every where, my source drew the places they were hiding out, we stay close to this creek we can get a few feet away from Owen, half the men are scouted out, the other half is with Layla and Owen." I listen as we are running threw the woods, "Ceaser, I can't lose my sister again" I say to him. "We are not gonna lose anyone." he says back to me, a few more miles and Mindi whispers "stop" we crouch low, and I can hear the men talking and laughing, Mendi slides off of me, and stands right In front of me, she puts her finger to her lips and shush me, she then starts doing some funky stuff with her arms, her eyes are closed and she lip talking no sound coming out. Then I felt a funny sensation wash over Ceaser and I, I feel my body shrieking, I start to panick Mendi puts her hand on me to calm me, "Stay calm, I'm transforming you into a squirrel." Mendi whispers, then moments next I'm on all fours looking up at Mendi, I walk over to the creek and look at myself, holy f**k I'm a squirrel. "I turn back to Mendi, she's not there in fact another squirrel is standing where she was, I look around, the squirrel comes up to me and places her squirrel hand on me, then Mendi voice speaks out the squirrel mouth, "Ryan calm down it's me, my powers are I can transform anyone and myself into whatever I want." She smiles. "Quickly let's climb tree, we can scout from there, " I follow her lead, it's actually kind of fun being a squirrel, we pick a big tree with lots of branches to hide us better, we get settle, I lean over, I count 15 men all around the fire, then I see Layla she's tied to a tree, her poor dress is shredded, I can see most of her body, I growl, well squeak I guess you can say, I watch as she is watching the men, she doing something, she's trying to break her chains, then she stops and looks straight ahead, she tearing up, I follow her gaze when I see a man holding a big bloody man that's chain to a tree as well, they have him standing up, the man is steadily punching the guy, f**k it's Owen, I was about to jump when Mendi leaped in front of me, "No, I'm trying to place a spell on them, at least a sleeping spell or something to slow them down, there big spells usually contains 2 witches to do it, if I can get enough strength to cast it, we can come up with a plan to free them." pacing back and fourth, trying to come up with a plan, when I hear "Please stop, please hurt me instead, I'm the one y'all are after come get me, you piece of s**t" Layla is screaming at the man who is tourting Owen, come on think Ryan think, "Ryan, I'm picking up some sort of magic here, someone here is a witch, I can use there aura if I can get close enough figure out, which man is a witch" Mendi whispers to me, I ignore her theory cause she doesn't know that Layla can do witch spells as well, "Where are the other men at," I ask Mendi, "Most went back to town, a few is still roaming the woods." perfect I snicker to myself. "what if I get layla's attention, she can do more than me, she knows a few spells." I said to Mendi, she looks at me weird, then quickly she smiles and nods her head, so I take off jumping from limb to limb to get closer to Layla, I'm right above her, I jump a few times to shake the tree, nothing. I make a squirrel sound, she looks up at me, then looks back down. I look over where do left mendi at, she has her eyes closed, looking around to find something to throw at her I grab a few nuts that's on a branch and pick them off, I throw one down, quickly realizing that was a mistake, a man came running toward Layla, he has his eyes set up in the tree looking for me, I run into a hole and stay there, I can't see Layla, but I hear the guy say, "Stand guard at that tree, something is in there." "Dude, your just scared of the woods, it's probably a squirrel." one man says, and another follows with "your a ghost, oooo", I hear the guy punch the men, Mendi quietly makes her way to me, she climbs threw the hole, "I cast a sleeping spell, they will fall asleep in a few minutes, I drained my energy, I can only hold it for a minutes, once there asleep I'll turn you back into your human form, you help your alpha, I'll help your sister." Mendi whispers, I nod my head, we sit there until the last man drops to his knees dead asleep. We creep slowly down the tree, jumping over the guy that was standing watch, I make my way over to Owen, and Mendi stands in front of Layla, Layla is looking at her wide eyed, then in seconds I was back to my human and I began to use my werewolf strength and started breaking the chains, Mendi who is having trouble breaking the chains, I hurry faster, finally breaking the last chain, Owen falls into my arms, even with werewolf strength he's a heavy guy, I drag him north about 2 miles, I lay him beside a stream, I turn into Ceaser to get back faster, after I get layla free, the men start waking up, not fully awake yet, I turn back into Ceaser grab Mendi and throw her on my back I wait for Layla who tells me she's fine, I take off, Mendi yells "stop", I turn to look Layla didn't follow me, grunting I turn around and go back, coming up on a horrid scene, I see all 15 men, lined up some with no head, others throat and stomachs ripped open, Layla covered in blood, I watch as the last man falls on his knees, layla's fingers slowly pulling out of his eye sockets, then finishing him off by grabbing his throat and ripping it out, he falls to the ground, she takes one of the men and rips his shirt off, when she turns where she is facing Mendi and I, I see T has taking over, I watch as She held up her finger, and a claw was extended out, she carves something in the man's back, once she done she throws him down, and looks straight at me, I stare back at her, and look down and read "I'M COMING FOR YOU -TG-"

Mendi leans over and pukes everywhere, Layla's eyes begin to change back to her normal blue color, she stands there for a few minutes taking in the scene that she done, and walks toward us, I didn't say nothing, we hear howls at a distance, I look back at layla, I grunted for her to follow me, she sighs and starts walking behind me.

Layla's pov: I could feel sensation all over me, I knew something was happening, "Someone is here, there using magic." T says to me, standing up. "What do we do, are they here for me or here to help?" I ask T, she went silent. "I'm not sure, I don't feel threaten by their aura." after t tells me that, I start glancing around, trying to figure it out, then shortly a man chugs the rest of his liquor and staggarily walks over to Owen, I stiffen. "Well,well,well big bad wolfy king, ain't so tough now is he?" the man punches Owen in the stomach, yelling different things at him, hitting him over and over, T is fighting to come out, luckily Owen is knocked out, I hope he can't feel nothing. "please stop, please, you want me, not him " I couldn't take it no more I cried out, I know Owen was gonna reject me, but he didn't get to so the pain and torture their doing to him, is not helping the mate bond, I'm gonna Kill all if these men. After the men finally chill out and go back to their beds, the sensation feeling was getting stronger, I watch as half of them yawned around the same time, then a few seconds later I get hit in the head with a nut, "What the f**k," as I looked up to see a squirrel staring at me, he was throwing his hands around, I look back out toward the men when one man was dead staring at me, he jumps up quickly and runs straight over to me, he looking all in the tree, I laugh when the men where making fun of him, I stop when he kicked me hard in my leg. Then something happens, they all fall down to their knees yawning and stretching, then falling to sleep, I was confused, then moments 2 squirrels jump from the tree, the bigger one runs to Owen, and I look and see a pretty white squirrel infront of me, she was white like T. Then suddenly she turns into, no way "Mendi" I breathe out, she smiles and nods. "Layla, our brothers mate is a witch." I hear T say. looking over I see that the bigger squirrel is now Ryan. I shake my head and smile, he came for us. T and I purred softly. Noticing Ryan is almost done getting Owen free I realized Mendi looks pale and exhausted, "I'm sorry Layla I'm trying, I used all my strength to put a sleep spell on them." Mendi sniffles. "It's ok, I'm just glad to see y'all here, how did y'all know we were in trouble?" I ask her, "shh, I'll answer your questions when were safe." Mendi says. I watch as Ryan carries Owen north, Mendi is still working on the chains, she keeps collasping, 35 minutes later Ceaser comes threw the woods and runs straight over to us, he turns into ryan, he quickly breaks the chain by one pull, he turns back into Ceaser, and puts Mendi on his back, he gestures for me to follow, I was going to when T came forward, "They must die," is all I hear before she takes over pushing me back and bring the wall up. it felt like hours, but it wasn't moments later, I'm standing around a bunch of dead men, blood, guts, hearts and all riped out, a man lying infront of me with the words carved in his back " IM COMING FOR YOU- TG", I don't move until I hear Ryan grunt at me, followed by a bunch of howls in the distance, I finally feel my feet move I follow Ceaser back to where he hid Owen, Mendi sleeping, once we get to him, I run over to him, feeling for a heart beat, I hear it, I sigh heavily, I stare at his face, taking in his features, he is one handsome man, and even when he is sleeping, he looks like a asshole, I take my finger slowly place it on his skin, electric bolts shoot threw me, I gasp loudly the feeling feels so good, so right, I trace his hairline down around his eyes, I slowly trace his lips, over and over, not realizing my face inches from his, my lips so close to his, I closed my eyes, ready to taste him when suddenly he opens his eyes and jerks away, I stand up quickly beat red, don't know what to say, I just run off. I hear Ryan yell for me. I stop and fall to my knees, Ryan running up to me, "Hey, hey, it's ok, Layla are you ok? come on we need to go back it's not safe." I hear Ryan trying to stand me up, "Ryan he dosent deserve me, please I'll help get y'all safely home, if you please just let me leave and go back to me being by myself, I'll be fine." I whimpered. T tucking her tail in. "Layla I'm not arguing about this right now, come on we need to get back." Ryan let's go of me and walks back, I follow. "T, I'm sorry but when the moment is right, I'm vanishing. I felt like my whole body was on fire, when I touched him, it felt good, to good. We can't stay, he doesn't want us." I tell her, I feel her agree and slump down. We arrive back when I glanced over at him, he was sitting up, Mendi was handing him a leaf with water in it, he drank slowly, she offered me some, but I refused. I glanced back over at Owen, he was looking at me but quickly looks away. Ryan is building a fire, "how did you get us free." I hear his husky voice speak. "Well funny story, Mendi here, my beautiful mate, is a witch, we were enjoying each other company when she got a letter from thin air, from some body saying y'all was in danger and was hurt, so we came back, ended up transforming into squirrels, and Mendi put the men to sleep which gave us time to free you, Mendi was losing her strength I had to hurry back, we got Layla free, we were leaving when I notice Layla wasn't behind me, I turned around, and Layla well actually T she went all." "She didn't do nothing." I yell out before Ryan told him what she had done. Ryan and Mendi both look at each other, Ryan shurgging his shoulders, Owen looking well the same; mad. "She didn't do nothing, let's just forget about it and figure out our next plan, all my money and stuff is back at the cave, I can go back in a few days and get it." "NO" Owen yells, we all flinch, "You or no-one else is going back to the cave, we will figure out where exactly we are and go from there, tomorrow, we all need to get some rest for now." Owen turns over and goes to sleep. Huffing, I do the same, I lean back up to find Ryan lying down and grabbing Mendi and placing her in his arms, I smile but hurt washes over me, I glance back at Owen, his back toward me, "T, will we ever be loved again." I sadly say. "One day Layla, one day." I look over again at Ryan, when I catch Mendi staring at me, I look at her weird, she sadly smiles and turns into ryans chest, I lay back down, shivering I scoot closer to the fire, I doze off curled up when I feel those muscle arms wrap around me once again. I hear a soft whisper "Your mine!"
